My cat is Eve and my mother's dog is Lady.
A situation arose that I had to take my mother's dog for a while. There is no one else to leave her with. I was very worried that the dog and the cat would not make friends. Several weeks have passed and my cat is no longer so afraid of the dog. Sometimes it doesn't even kill when the dog walks by.
I think that soon they will become friends, maybe they will not be close friends, but they will not be afraid of each other.
I think that the cat and the dog need time, they get used to the smell and then they will no longer be afraid. Forcibly a = you cannot force them to sit in the same room, or to sit next to them. They themselves should feel that nothing threatens them and that they can safely approach each other.
Another problem that has arisen is that the Lady barks at almost all passers-by while walking.
When there are a lot of people, she does not pay attention to everyone so much, but when people pass and there are not many of them, she begins to bark. I do not know how to cope with this, I tell her "Lady is not allowed." But she doesn't listen to me.
The lady grew up in the village, there are much fewer people than ours, so she got used to barking at everyone, and besides, she, most likely, was not particularly forbidden.
Who knows how to stop a dog from barking at passers-by?)
Nice walk
