Lorelai Wright – ID: 2338 - Back Story
Lorelai and her dog walked in the park, like every day. The sun was already setting over the horizon and the heat was slowly dissipating, making it the perfect time to go for a walk. The little dog, named Bones, wagged his tail happily as he walked alongside his owner.
The park was busy. Many children were playing, some people were running or exercising, and several groups of young people had a good time while having a soda. Strangely, there were no more people walking their dogs, as was normal. Lorelai didn't think too much about this and she just kept walking. At one point, she sat down on one of the benches and let little Bones walk free, knowing that he wouldn't go too far.
Her worst fears, however, were fulfilled within minutes. Bones didn't come back, so she started calling him. She heard a bark, which she identified as his, and ran in search of him. Before her eyes, she watched as two people took Bones and put him in a van with tinted windows. Lorelai screamed, saying that it was her dog, and she ran to try to reach them, but she couldn't.
Someone had stolen Bones. And Lorelai made it her mission to find out who, why, and get him back.
This is how she began her investigation. She searched the internet and found a tutorial to get into the city's security system and be able to see the security cameras. In them she found the van, so she recovered the license plate from it. The next thing she did was look for that license plate and, to her surprise, she discovered that the it belonged to a criminal. And a famous one, apparently. The leader of an organized crime gang. She also found that many dogs had been reported lost or stolen and it didn't take long for her to connect the dots.
Two weeks later, Lorelai was already part of the band. She had introduced herself to them saying that she had computer skills and that she wanted to work for them. After extensive questioning to make sure she wasn’t a police officer, she was allowed in. Lorelai began working hacking into security systems and taking care of the dogs that the gang kidnapped. Her little Bones identified her immediately and was soon by her side.
After a while, when she had already gained their trust, Lorelai asked that they let her have the dog, since he had become fond of her. The gang leader gave no objection, so Bones returned to his real home. However, Lorelai was not satisfied, as there were still many other dogs that were held captive by the gang, so she used her abilities to send secret messages to the police.
One night, when everyone was preparing to carry out a robbery with the dogs, the police attacked. The agents managed to apprehend all the members of the gang, including Lorelai, and rescued the other dogs to be able to take them to their owners. During the interrogations, Lorelai explained and gave proof that it was she who had tipped them off and the detectives, impressed by her abilities, asked her if she wanted to work for them dismantling gangs like those.
Lorelai accepted, and since then has worked as an undercover agent for the police.
