Ahhh It's been a long time since a written a good blog post on HIVE.
Well, I do not count the Linkedin Post Series as such, I made those posts in a sort of batch writing session and those were the just second series I made from learning from the first series. I reviewed them, the creativity, the outcome, and the way the audience reacted to them. Oh yeah - while making and posting the post I try to put value in it for the persons who might read them. I am not a perfectionist but I am not that lazy either but creating them to valuable and detach yourself from it and what I mean by is that I do not put expectations.
You might ask why? Well let's say you created a piece of content for like hours - let's take for example a logo presentation with slides. You want it to be perfect to the pixels so you spent like hours on it, perfecting here and there but all you get is like a reach of 200 accounts but just 2 likes. How would you feel? YEaaaah!! Destroyed! I was like that in the beginning. You can keep doing that, perfecting and showcasing your interests and skills but detach yourself in such a way that no matter the outcome does not harm you.
- You learn in this process though - you learn about the audience (Who they are, where they are and what they like)
- You learn about YOUR creative system - how and when its YOUR best time to create your piece of content
- You learn more about the possibilities of the YOUr chosen social media channels and you find new ones too.
What all that in mind - You learn a lot. Try to do this for 30 days of making content. You can create 30 pieces of content, for one piece for one channel.
In my case, I have tried so far to create one piece of content per day but I might change the channel from day to day or I choose to share one piece of content through different channels. (Audience reaction vary per channel ) So far I am on Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Youtube(I have not posted there, but Tiktok I did), Twitter, and HIVE.
As long as I drop one piece of content on one channel. Some are puns but most of them are about what I do as MOTEV designs
Well, I think enough writing for this one, eh ?!
I got to go back to work. I say; Grantangi (Thank you)
