Good afternoon my seamstress friends, do you like Palazzos? I imagine that from the cover of this blog you already know what I mean and yes, wide pants, the truth is I had many existential doubts about wearing one and no 🤣 because I am somewhat fat and I do not have as much figure as I would like, but I did not let that discourage me although I exercised because I fought a lot to achieve the desired figure but sometimes the color and type of fabric does not favor you, you will say but how so? so I was wearing all this time things that didn't make me look good, to tell the truth it may be like that but regardless of whether you have a nice figure or not you should know how to choose the colors of your clothes and the exact size there is the trick and it may seem so simple but it is not, even it has been difficult for me, there are clothes that sometimes I have felt comfortable wearing and that is why because of the color and the perfect size, I have always said that the size should be tailored neither tight nor too loose because it can make you lose the figure that you maintain.
These palazzos are a somewhat wide garment and do not suit many people, but it is because of what I told you before, the size may not be the right one. I made it to measure and the truth is not that wide since I do not have much of a figure, but even so, I made it a little wide in the leg and I was happy with the result. Here we are going to be making this cute palazzo in my size. I will show you how to make it in such a simple way so that you can make yours to your measure.

Steps to follow:
Paso 01
Step 01
To cut the pieces I will use a measurement of a pair of pants that obviously is not wide enough for me, but we are going to cut it to the width we want like this, we just fold the fabric in half, we do the same with the pants, we fold in half and we start cutting the side pieces, we cut two and the waistband, we will make the waistband leaving 1 cm more than the width which is our elastic, from this cut two pieces because it was not enough for me but what we will do is match the pieces and there will be no problem. 😊
Paso 02
Step 02
We will proceed to sew the sides of the pants. We will join the legs first with pins and sew and finish both pieces with a zigzag stitch.
Paso 03
Step 03
Paso 04
Step 04
We move on to sew the leg section with a straight seam and once we have sewn it we will lower the front section 2 cm, with the waistband pieces as I had told you I had to match them up, so that was what I did, I took both pieces, joined them and sewed them together and then turned them over.
Paso 05
Step 05
The next thing we will do is cut a small point in the fabric to guide us and we will place a pin. We will begin to sew the edge and join the waistband to the pants. Always remember to finish with a zigzag for a better finish. At the end I wanted to preferably put a cord so that it would go up higher to my waist. You can do this if you want, if not, you can also leave it with just the elastic.

This is how the palazzo turned out, I loved it
and without thinking twice I put it on. I would be happy to know that you liked the process and if you would wear this type of pants.🤭😁
