Un gusto saludarles a todos espero estén teniendo una semana increíble yo un tanto ocupada estos días reorganizando ideas tanto es asi que solo me da tiempo de compartir algún que otro trabajo costuril con ustedes ya cuando me acuesto en cama cuando estoy mas relajada y un poquito descansada ,para no perder la costumbre y cuando ustedes puedan leerme se que lo harán con gusto y tomarán un pequeño momento de su tiempo y admirar cada trabajo que hago para ustedes con amor tiempo y dedicación.

Les quiero mostrar como hice un vestido de terciopelo a mi Barbie tomando referencia una imagen de vestido coreano en terciopelo que ví en pinterest me gustó mucho y lo tomé de referencia porque precisamente quiero hacerme uno para mí así que hice el boceto y corté las piezas a la medida de mi Barbie,pienso hacerme uno para mi exactamente igual al modelo no con respecto al color aunque la verdad me fascina la tela roja y vinotinto en terciopelo pero cuando fuí a la tienda de telas lastimosamente no había estos colores solo unos mas opacos así que pensé en hacerme uno vinotinto color opaco,sin duda me gustó el modelo y para practicar he usado mi Barbie, así ya se como cortar piezas grandes de mi talla y seguir el modelo,sin mas que decir a continuación les muestro los pasos.

I want to show you how I made a velvet dress for my Barbie, using a picture of a Korean velvet dress I saw on Pinterest as a reference. I really liked it and used it as a reference because I actually want to make one for myself. So I made a sketch and cut the pieces to fit my Barbie. I plan to make one exactly like the model, though not in terms of color. I really love red and burgundy velvet, but when I went to the fabric store, unfortunately, they didn't have those colors, only some more opaque ones. So I thought I'd make one in a matte burgundy color. I definitely liked the design, and I've been practicing with my Barbie. Now I know how to cut large pieces in my size and follow the pattern. Paso 01

Bien amigos al principio les comenté que este modelo lo ví por Pinterest buscando ideas para hacer el modelo del vestido que quiero para una reunión especial así que me gustó mucho este vestido semi pegado con abertura de un costado y cuello cuadrado manga larga,en este caso para mí Barbie no fué necesario sacarle los patrones porqué simplemente tome una cinta y las medidas que tenía fuí sacando el vestido ya que con patrones se me iba a dificultar mas asi que simplemente lo marqué directamente a la tela con tiza de costura y saqué todas las piezas la pieza de arriba de atras y de la falda abierta de un costado para hacer dicha abertura.

I really liked this semi-fitted dress with a side slit and a square neckline with long sleeves. In this case, for my Barbie, it wasn't necessary to make patterns because I simply took a ribbon and the measurements I had and made the dress. Using patterns would have made it more difficult, so I simply marked it directly onto the fabric with tailor's chalk and cut out all the pieces: the top back piece and the side slit for the skirt.

Paso 02

En el siguiente paso después de sacar las piezas en la tela de terciopelo ,ubicaremos las piezas encima del trozo de tela de date satén y cortaremos las piezas de lo que será nuestro forro por dentro del vestido ,siempre nos ayudamos con alfileres para evitar que se nos ruede el forro de la parte externa superior.

Step 02

In the next step after cutting out the pieces from the velvet fabric, we will place the pieces on top of the piece of satin fabric and cut out the pieces of what will be our lining inside the dress. We always use pins to prevent the lining from rolling up on the outer top part.

Paso 03

Procedemos a coser lo que sería la parte interna del forro con la blusa o pieza de terciopelo,este paso es importante que tengamos mucha paciencia a la hora dr coser los bordes,luego cosemos la parte de nuestras mangas abierta con la sisa y cosemos también por el borde uniendo bien nuestras mangas,hasta este paso ya le podemos colocar la blusa a mi Barbie oara saber como vamos.

Step 03

We proceed to sew what would be the inner part of the lining with the blouse or velvet piece. This step is important, so we have a lot of patience when sewing the edges. Then we sew the open part of our sleeves with the armhole and also sew along the edge, joining our sleeves well. Up to this point, we can put the blouse on my Barbie to see how we are doing.

Paso 04

Como ultimo paso es momento de coser la falda pero primeramente ubicamos el forro y cosemos por dentro para voltearlo,lo cosemos junto a la blusa del vestido y para darle un toque mucho más elegante y precioso he usado una cinta plateada y está la vamos a coser por todo el borde del cuello y parte exterior del frente del vestido en la cintura ,usamos el nailon transparente para evitar que se nos vea el hilo,con esto lo terminamos y es hora de mostrarles el resultado.😉

Step 04

As a final step, it's time to sew the skirt, but first, we locate the lining and sew it inside out to turn it right side out. We sew it next to the bodice of the dress, and to give it a much more elegant and beautiful touch, I've used a silver ribbon. We'll sew this all around the edge of the neckline and the outer front of the dress at the waist. We use clear nylon to prevent the thread from showing. With that, we're finished, and it's time to show you the result! 😉
