Hello friends, it's a pleasure to greet you this beautiful evening, I hope you had a pleasant and profitable day, I wanted to share with you a very beautiful and pretty sewing work that I know you will like, mainly because it is a beautiful women's sweater that we will be making today, this sweater design had been a while since I had not made it, it is a different and simple model, I was looking for many ideas as inspiration for this sweater and I found in the Pinterest application ideas that crossed my mind to make this sweater, it is a model that I loved since I saw it because it is elegant, beautiful and has slightly wide sleeves with a vintage style and that you can use it for special occasions, it has a neckline in the back with a strap that gives a more sensual touch to this piece.

This tutorial that I share with you is so that you can learn how to make each piece that I make for you in a simpler and more practical way. I consider this tutorial to be a medium level of difficulty 🤭⭐⭐⭐⭐.

We start by first taking the patterns and cutting the pieces as needed: the bust piece, the back piece, the bias, the straps, and the long sleeves. For the sleeve design, in this case, I made some wide ones because I plan to make a lettuce-type gather or lettuce seam, which basically consists of stretching our fabric while we sew either an overlock or zigzag stitch.

We then move on to sewing our blouse and we are going to seal the shoulders in this case with an overlock seam, I sealed the edges and sewed with a straight seam to prevent our seam from opening once this is done with both shoulders of the piece we sew the sleeves to the armhole then it is time to seal the blouse from the sides sewing it from the top of the sleeve to the bottom also doing the same step that we did with the overlock seam throughout the blouse, then it is time to open our sleeve and we are going to sew the gathering or lettuce seam, what I did was stretch my fabric well while sewing the edge on this edge I passed three overlock seams to make it gathered.

I proceed to sew the hem of the blouse down and the 2 cm hem, then we will sew the bias of the straps that we will use to place them in the back. I sew it leaving a 1 cm seam allowance and with my tape tool.

We fold the piece in half and we are going to cut it, then we place the back piece and on the back of the blouse I have lowered the fall of the neckline and sewed the straps side by side. In this way we finish sewing our sweater.

These are the final results of this beautiful sweater as it looks now on and with the neckline at the back 😍 I really liked this piece because it turned out elegant. I can combine it with different styles of skirts and pants. I also really love the fabric I used to make it, in this case micropeach. It adapts to our body and molds very easily.
