Hola querida y apreciada comunidad artesana,son pocas las veces que pasó por acá mostrándoles mi arte costuril y las veces que lo hago siempre les muestro como hacer desde casa diferentes tipos de prendas de una manera sencilla y práctica.

Les quiero mostrar en este blog tutorial como hice por primera vez un jogger de dama para mí con el poco aprendizaje que tengo del curso de costura que estamos haciendo mi novio y yo y viendo videos tutoriales para hacer uno ,al principio a mi se me hacía bien difícil,pero tenía que intentarlo y practicar hasta dar con el correcto ,varias veces lo intentaba pero no lo podía hacer,una vez aprendí a patronar monos a partir de ese patrón el profesor nos comentó que podíamos hacer diferentes tipos de mono hacerles transformaciones y hasta colocarle diferentes tipos de bolsillos,este jogger es tipo cargo con bolsillos de los laterales y atrás aunque es un poco tedioso el proceso siempre he dicho que vale la pena hacerlo por ti mism@ en casa,es una gran satisfacción después que ya esta terminado,asi que acompañenme a hacerlo.Te estaré compartiendo algunos tips que me tocó aprenderlos durante el proceso.

In this blog tutorial, I want to show you how I made my first pair of women's joggers for myself. I learned a lot from the sewing course my boyfriend and I are taking, and by watching video tutorials. At first, it was really difficult, but I had to keep trying and practicing until I got it right. I tried several times but couldn't do it. Once I learned how to draft jumpsuit patterns, the teacher told us that we could make different types of jumpsuits from that pattern, alter them, and even add different kinds of pockets. This jogger is a cargo style with side and back pockets. Although the process is a bit tedious, I've always said it's worth doing it yourself at home. It's so satisfying when it's finished, so join me in making it. I'll be sharing some tips I learned along the way.

Paso 01

Procedemos entonces con el corte de las piezas que es lo principal que hacemos en la costura,yo he contado en una superficie plana y a partir del hilo de la tela de derecha a izquierda empecé en este caso a marcar mis patrones dejando 1 cm de margen de costura por todo el borde de mis piezas, corté cuatro piezas para el jogger dos de la parte de adelante y dos para la parte de atrás, corté los bolsillos, corté la pretina y los puños del tobillo del mismo ancho de la bota del pantalón o jogger, después corté los bolsillos doble cada uno ,dos con cortes de vista del bolsillo y dos para la parte de adentro o costado del bolsillo.

Step 01

We then proceed with cutting the pieces, which is the main thing we do in sewing. I counted on a flat surface and, starting from the grain of the fabric from right to left, I began to mark my patterns, leaving a 1 cm seam allowance all around the edge of my pieces. I cut four pieces for the jogger, two for the front and two for the back. I cut the pockets, the waistband, and the ankle cuffs to the same width as the leg of the pants or jogger. Then I cut the pockets double, two with facing cuts and two for the inside or side of the pocket.

Paso 02

Después pasé a coser los bolsillos de adentro hacia afuera cada bolsillo en las vistas y repisamos por encima,vamos a unir luego las piezas del tiro del frente de las piezas y repisamos con doble costura arriba para darle mejor acabado a las prendas.

Step 02

Then I proceeded to sew the pockets from the inside out, each pocket on the facings, and we stitched over them. Next, we will join the crotch pieces of the front of the garments and stitch over them with a double seam on top to give the garments a better finish.

Paso 03

Procedemos a colocarle a los bolsillos la parte de atrás que va a cubrir la vista que se ve de los laterales del joggers luego cosemos por los costados para casi sellar el jogger ,no olvidemos pasarle costura doble.

Step 03

We proceed to attach the back part to the pockets, which will cover the visible side of the joggers. Then we sew along the sides to almost seal the joggers, and don't forget to double-stitch them.

Paso 04

Seguido de este paso se llegó el momento de armar lo que yo pienso es mas tedioso del trabajo,coser "Los bolsillos" ,cada una de las vistas lo saqué doble y los bolsillos si se mantienen de una pieza ,coseremos por el contorno las vistas dejando centímetros de costura y luego la volteamos nuevamen,cortaremos 3 cm de ancho de cierre mágico y lo ubicamos a cada cierre midiendo cada uno,después que los cosemos medimos la mitad del joggers y de esa mitad hacia arriba colocas el bolsillo,para loa bolsillos ,de una. Ez uniremos los extremos de nuestra pretina y el elástico de una vez para meter el elástico adentro de la misma y coserlo,en este casi lo hilo así pero convendría mejor que lo hagas como tu aprendiste a hacerlo,solo es un pequeño tips 😊.

Step 04

Following this step, it's time to assemble what I think is the most tedious part of the job: sewing the pockets. I cut each facing double, and the pockets themselves are one piece. We'll sew the facings around the perimeter, leaving a few centimeters of seam allowance, and then turn them right side out. We'll cut 3 cm wide Velcro and attach it to each zipper, measuring each one. After sewing them on, we'll measure halfway down the joggers and attach the pocket from that halfway up. For the pockets, we'll join the ends of our waistband and the elastic all at once to insert the elastic inside and sew it. In this case, I sewed it this way, but it would be better if you did it the way you learned to do it. It's just a little tip 😊.

Paso 05

Por último uniremos la pretina a la cintura del jogger y cosemos nuevamente otra costura recta encima para repisar,hacemos el mismo procedimiento para coser el elástico para los contornos de la bota del pantalón,le metemos el elástico de igual manera y cosemos a la bota del jogger para terminar.

Step 05

Finally, we will attach the waistband to the jogger's waistband and sew another straight seam on top to reinforce it. We do the same procedure to sew the elastic for the contours of the pant leg, insert the elastic in the same way and sew it to the jogger leg to finish.

Aquí les muestro como se ve ya terminado nuestro jogger con los bolsillos por los costados,confieso que me tomó dos días en hacerlo a penas lo terminé hoy algunos detalles y con un poco de paciencia,espero les haya gustado mucho les deseo lo mejor ,gracias por apreciar.
