Hello, fellow crafters! I hope you are all well wherever you are and having a happy Christmas Eve. This is my last DIY post of the year. This time I'm sharing some gnomes made out of cardboard.
I saw my friends getting very excited making decorations for their homes, so I decided to make them a little something. I thought of a table decoration, and since I didn't have much material left, I made some cute gnomes out of cardboard and foam. Basically, I used very few resources.
Gnome made out of cardboard
Materials: thick and thin cardboard, liquid and stick silicone, silicone gun, matte and glitter foam in various colors.
Instructions:
1- Draw the template for each part of the gnome on paper. Transfer the base to the thick cardboard and the body to the thinner cardboard.
2- Transfer the template to the foam. Use matte foam for everything except the hat. The hat is made from glitter foam.
3- Work on the base using white foam for the top and pink for the bottom, making a rectangular opening in the center.
4- Assemble and decorate at the same time. I decorated with sequins, figures I made, and scraps of foam. The body is glued with hot glue into the opening.
5- We decorated the base with a small tree made from toothpicks and a gift box made from cardboard. The tree is made from a 1.5 cm strip of foam, which is cut several times without reaching the end. It is rolled up and glued to the toothpick.
I made 10 decorations. They turned out very pretty and colorful. To hand them out, I numbered them and each girl selected a number, which she looked for among the gnomes. My friends came to my house in groups, ha ha ha. Here are three of them. They left very happy and grateful.

¡Hola, amigos artesanos! Espero que estén bien dondequiera que se encuentren y que estén pasando una feliz víspera de Navidad. Esta es mi última publicación DIY del año. Esta vez vengo con unos gnomos hechos con cartón.
Vi a mis amigas muy entusiasmadas haciendo adornos para decorar sus hogares, así que se me ocurrió hacerles un detalle. Pensé en un adorno de mesa y, como me quedaba poco material, hice unos lindos gnomos con cartón y foami. Básicamente, usé pocos recursos.Gnomo hecho con cartón
Materiales: cartón grueso y delgado, silicona líquida y en barra, pistola de silicona, foami mate y escarchado de varios colores.
Elaboración:
1- Sacar el molde de cada una de las partes del gnomo en papel. Trasladar la base al cartón grueso y el cuerpo al cartón más fino.
2- Transferir el molde al foami. Todo en foami mate, excepto el gorro. El gorro se saca en foami escarchado.
3- Trabajamos la base en foami blanco para la parte superior y rosado para la inferior, haciendo una abertura rectangular en el centro.
4- Ensamblamos y vamos decorando al mismo tiempo. Decoré con lentejuelas, figuras que hice y retazos de foami. El cuerpo se pega con silicona caliente en la abertura.
5- Decoramos la base con un arbolito hecho con palillos y una cajita de regalo hecha con cartulina. El arbolito se hace con una tira de foami de 1,5 cm y luego se hacen varios cortes sin llegar al extremo. Se enrolla y se pega en el palillo.
Hice 10 adornos. Quedaron muy bonitos y coloridos. Para entregarlos, los enumeré y cada una seleccionó un número, que buscó entre los gnomos. Mis amigas vinieron a mi casa por grupos, ja, ja, ja. Les dejo una muestra de tres de ellas. Se fueron muy contentas y agradecidas.
