Greetings, dear friends. Today I bring you a new decorative pine tree made from cardboard and other materials I already had stored away. I hope you like it.

It's almost Christmas and many people are decorating their homes, but everything is very expensive. All you have to do is look through your things to make the most beautiful and inexpensive decorations, as if you had bought them in a store.

Getting down to business, this ornament made from a cardboard cone can be decorated in various ways, as I always say, depending on your creativity and taste. I wanted to make two models, but I was very busy. I decided to make something simple, with few materials. I didn't have any cardboard, so I used a yellow folder.

Pine tree or Christmas tree made from cardboard

	Materials: 1 yellow cardboard folder, hot glue gun, 2 sticks of hot glue, liquid glue, and two strings of beads: red and gold

Procedure:
1- Open the folder and roll it up to form a cone, securing it in some places with pieces of adhesive tape.

2- Before removing the adhesive, we glue it with liquid silicone to secure the cone. Then, we cut the base to give it a circular shape.

3- We begin to glue the pearls. We place a dot of hot silicone to start the gluing. Then, we turn it over to place the dots where we will attach the chain. We do this carefully so that the chain does not become loose.

4- We continue turning and gluing until we reach the tip of the pine tree. It looks beautiful and elegant, as if you had bought it in a store.

Wrapping the pearl chain around the cone is a bit tricky due to the weight of the chain, as we have to wait for the hot glue to dry completely, otherwise it will move. Another detail is the material of the cone: it should be made of stronger cardboard. The material of the folder is a bit flimsy, so I filled it with rags to give it consistency and be able to work more safely.

You can add details to the top and base: a star, flowers, bows, or simulate the trunk with a tube or stick inserted into a container. I am sure that whatever idea you choose to decorate the pine tree, it will look beautiful in your living room or wherever you decide to place it. But the most important thing is that you made it yourself.

Saludos, gente querida. Hoy les traigo un nuevo pino decorativo hecho con cartulina y otros materiales que ya tenía guardados. Espero que sea de su agrado.
Estamos en vísperas de Navidad y mucha gente está decorando sus hogares, pero todo está muy caro. Solo tienes que buscar entre tus cosas para elaborar los adornos más bonitos y de bajo costo, como si los hubieras comprado en una tienda.
Entrando en materia, este adorno hecho con un cono de cartulina se puede decorar de diversas maneras, como siempre digo, depende de la creatividad y del gusto. Quería hacer dos modelos, pero estaba muy ocupada. Decidí hacer algo sencillo, con pocos materiales. No tenía cartulina, así que usé una carpeta amarilla.

Pino o arbolito navideño hecho con cartulina

Materiales: 1 carpeta de cartulina amarilla, pistola de silicona, 2 barras de silicona caliente, silicona líquida y dos cadenas de perlas: roja y dorada.
Procedimiento:
1- Abrir la carpeta y enrollar para formar el cono, sujetando en algunas partes con pedacitos de cinta adhesiva.
2- Antes de retirar el adhesivo, pegamos con silicona líquida para asegurar el cono. Luego, recortamos la base para darle forma circular.
3- Empezamos a pegar las perlas. Colocamos un punto de silicona caliente para iniciar el pegado. Después, vamos dando la vuelta para ir colocando los puntos donde fijaremos la cadena. Lo hacemos con cuidado para que la cadena no quede floja.
4- Seguimos dando vueltas y pegando hasta llegar a la punta del pino. Queda bonito y elegante, como si lo hubieras comprado en una tienda.
El paso de enrollar la cadena de perlas alrededor del cono es un poco problemático debido al peso de la cadena, ya que debemos esperar a que la silicona se seque bien, porque si no, se mueve. El otro detalle es el material del cono: debe ser una cartulina más fuerte. El material de la carpeta es un poco endeble, por eso lo rellené con trapos para darle consistencia y poder trabajar con más seguridad.
Puedes agregarle detalles en la punta y en la base: una estrella, flores, lazos o simular el tallo con un tubo o palo metido en un envase. Estoy segura de que, sea cual sea la idea que elijas para decorar el pino, quedará muy bonito en tu sala o en el lugar que decidas colocarlo. Pero lo más importante es que lo hiciste tú mismo.
