Hello my dear hivers who love easy and simple crafts, this is for you. I have for you today a super simple mega Christmas tree and a crocheted pot holder for beginners.
Me encanta la Navidad porque me despierta la imaginación. Mi hermana me pidió que le tejiera un agarra ollas con algunos hilos que tenía por ahí y bueno puse manos a la obra aunque el crochet no es algo que sea mi fuerte. Por otro lado, hace días rondaba en mi cabeza hacer un arbolito para colocarlo en la puerta y quise hacerlo con tubitos de papel.

I love Christmas because it sparks my imagination. My sister asked me to crochet a pot holder for her with some yarn I had lying around and so I got to work, even though crochet is not my forte. On the other hand, a few days ago I was thinking about making a little tree to put on the door and I wanted to do it with paper tubes.

Adorno navideño para puertas / Christmas ornament for doors
Los materiales básicos son: papel, silicón, tijera, hilo pabilo y adornos para decorar.
Antes de comenzar les dejo unas imágenes para recordar cómo se hacen los tubitos de papel ya que éste es el elemento principal. Hice 27 pitillos.
The basic materials are: paper, silicone, scissors, string, wick and ornaments to decorate.
Before we begin I leave you with some images to remind you how to make the paper tubes since this is the main element. I made 27 straws.
Procedimiento / Procedure
1- Agrupar en tres partes; 9 tubitos en cada grupo. / Group in three parts; 9 tubes in each group.
2- Atar cada grupo con el hilo pabilo. / Tie each group with the wick thread.
3- Unir las puntas con el hilo pabilo para formar un triángulo, envolviendo toda la superficie. / Join the ends with the wicker thread to form a triangle, wrapping the entire surface.
4- Decorar. / Decorate.
Agarraollas tejido a crochet / Crochet knitted potholder
Para este útil accesorio de cocina solamente necesitamos hilo y aguja.
Procedimiento / Procedure
1- Hacer un anillo. / Make a ring.
2- Montar 12 puntos bajos. / Knit 12 single crochet stitches.
3- Agregar dos puntos altos en cada punto bajo. / Add two double crochet stitches in each single crochet.
4- A partir de esta vuelta, todo será igual. / From this row on, everything will be the same.
5- Al cerrar, la última vuelta, continuamos con una cadeneta de 15 puntos y regresa con 15 puntos bajos para ajustar dónde comenzó, convirtiendo en el aro colgante. / When closing, the last row, we continue with a chain of 15 stitches and return with 15 single crochet stitches to adjust where it started, becoming the hanging ring.
El resultado fue un agarraollas de colores vibrantes. / The result was a vibrantly colored agarraollas.
