Hi Hive DIY friends
Today I want to make an Anteater from origami paper, an anteater is an animal that has a very unique shape and at first glance looks like a pangolin, anteater itself is a very beautiful ant eater.
To make an anteater I need two sheets of origami paper with different sizes, here is a tutorial on making an anteater from origami paper.
First fold the origami paper into a triangle, then unfold it again and now fold the paper again into a triangle from the opposite direction, then unfold the paper again and now turn the origami paper over, then fold the origami paper in half again, then unfold it again and fold the origami paper in half again from the opposite direction.
After that, unfold all the folds and now fold the origami paper into a triangle as shown in the picture below.
Then fold the right side of the paper up, then unfold it again and fold the paper to the left once more, then fold the left side to the right, do the same on the other side as shown in the picture below.
Then turn the paper over and now fold the right and left sides of the paper up, then make the right and left sides fold inward as shown in the picture below.
Then turn the paper over again and now fold the right side down, then fold the paper back into its original shape with the top middle part already inward, do the same on the other side as shown in the picture below.
Then fold the right and left sides of the paper down, then also fold the middle part of the paper in half as shown in the picture below.
Then turn the paper over and now fold the right side inward, then fold the ends outward again, then also fold the ends inward from the right and left sides as shown in the picture below.
Then fold the middle part of the right side and the left side to the front as shown in the picture below.
Then fold the bottom part up from the right side and the left side as shown in the picture below.
After that, fold the right side and the left side of the back down, also make the folds into inward folds as shown in the picture below.
Then turn the paper over and now fold the bottom of the stomach in between the front and back legs from the right and left sides, then fold the front legs down and up from the right and left sides, do the same for the back legs as shown in the picture below.
Then also make the eye folds like the picture below from the right and left sides by folding the paper back in the eye area and also press the middle in, I also revised the bottom of the stomach a little by making the fold more outward, and I also revised the leg folds a little by making the folds more pointed downwards.
After that take another smaller paper and fold the paper in half, then unfold it again and now fold the right and left sides of the paper inward.
Then fold the top ends of the right and left sides of the paper inward, also fold the bottom from the right and left sides inward as shown in the picture below.
Then turn the paper over and now fold the bottom of the paper up, then fold the bottom to the right and unfold it again to fold the bottom of the paper to the left, then unfold it again and now fold the right and left sides of the paper to the middle so that the middle protrudes upwards while folding the paper in half, and also pull the protruding part down a little so that the fold shape becomes more perfect.
Then open the middle and now fold the right and left sides of the paper inward again, then fold the middle of the paper in half again, also fold the top end of the paper inward a little as shown in the picture below.
Then combine the tail and body by inserting the tip of the tail into the middle of the body fold until the shape of the anteater is perfect.
This is the origami anteater that I can share with my friends today, thank you for visiting my handicraft post today.
