Greetings, my dear creative friends of this community. I hope you are very well, in good health and wellness, and that you have had the best day possible.
I am back in the community to share with you a simple craft, easy to make and also very beautiful for the coming season. I tell you that, as every Wednesday, I met with my friends from the craft group in the library of my community to attend a beautiful and very emotional workshop. At the end, as a creative activity they gave us these nativity scenes for us to paint and to keep as a souvenir of our weekly meeting.
Saludos, mis queridos amigos creativos de esta comunidad. Espero que estén muy bien, con salud y bienestar, y que hayan tenido el mejor día posible.
Estoy de vuelta por la comunidad para compartir con ustedes una manualidad sencilla, fácil de hacer y, además, muy hermosa para la época que se avecina. Les cuento que, como todos los miércoles, me reuní con mis amigas del grupo de artesanas en la biblioteca de mi comunidad para asistir a un taller hermoso y muy emotivo. Al final, como actividad creativa nos dieron estos nacimientos o pesebres para que los pintáramos y que nos quedara como recuerdo de nuestro encuentro semanal.
Materials
The materials needed to carry out this activity are:
.- MDF nativity scene or crib.
.- Acrylic paints
.- Brushes
In addition, water to clean the brushes and a small cloth to dry them before using them again with a different color paint.

Los materiales que se necesitan para llevar a cabo esta actividad son:
.- Nacimiento o pesebre en MDF
.- Pinturas acrílicas
.- Pinceles
Además, agua para limpiar los pinceles y un pañito para secarlos antes de volverlos a usar con una pintura de color diferente.
By the time of the activity, I only had three paints that I had bought some time ago, when I painted the tray I shared in this post So I started painting, at the library, a part of this nativity scene with the paint colors I didn't have.
Then, I bought more paints to finish it at home. I don't have many pictures of the step by step with each color because I concentrated on painting, remembering some of the techniques I used when I used to paint in my little corner of MDF in my house in Cumana.
I let myself be carried away by the pleasure of choosing colors and painting every detail of this beautiful nativity scene. It has been a long time since I painted on MDF and I remembered how much I liked it and how much it relaxes me like all the crafts I love to do.
Para el momento de la actividad, solo tenía tres pinturas que había comprado hace tiempo, cuando pinté la bandeja que compartí en esta publicación. Así que comencé a pintar, en la biblioteca, una parte de este pesebre con los colores de pintura que no tenía.
Luego, compré más pinturas para terminarlo en casa. No tengo muchas fotos del paso a paso con cada color porque me concentré en pintar, recordando algunas técnicas de las que usaba en los tiempos que pintaba en mi rinconcito de MDF en mi casa cumanesa.
Me dejé llevar por el placer de escoger colores y pintar cada detalle de este lindo pesebre. Hace mucho tiempo que no pintaba en MDF y recordé lo mucho que me gustaba y cuanto me relaja como todas las manualidades que me encanta hacer.

When I had all the pieces that make up the crib painted and dried, I began to assemble them on the base that gives them stability.
Assembling the nativity had some difficulty, because with the layers of paint that I gave to the pieces, some of them did not fit, but, in the end I managed to do it and I loved how the whole thing looks. It was very gratifying to finish painting and assembling the nativity scene because it connected me with many memories and feelings of beautiful moments in the past.
I have been left with the desire to continue painting, so I am thinking of buying more MDF details to paint and decorate the house with details made by me this Christmas, which will give my personal touch to this year's Christmas decoration.
I leave you the image of my finished nativity scene, a beautiful image of the true and deep meaning of family at Christmas and, of course, it already has a special place in my home.
Cuando tuve todas las piezas que conforman el pesebre pintadas y secas, comencé a ensamblarlas en la base que les da estabilidad.
Armar el nacimiento tuvo cierta dificultad, pues con las capas de pintura que les di a las piezas, algunas no encajaban, pero, al final lo conseguí y me encantó cómo se ve todo el conjunto. Fue muy gratificante terminar de pintar y armar el pesebre porque me conectó con muchos recuerdos y con sentimientos de momentos bonitos en el pasado.
Me he quedado con ganas de seguir pintando, así que estoy pensando en comprar más detalles en MDF para pintar y decorar la casa con detalles hechos por mí en esta Navidad, lo cual le dará mi toque personal a la decoración navideña de este año.
