Hola comunidad creativa en todo el mundo feliz y bendecido miércoles en unión de familiares y amigos; ya estamos al día 15 del mes de abril del año 2023,en mi ciudad el calor está un poco fuerte, es increíble lo rápido que avanza este año, hoy comparto con ustedes la elaboración de un cojín en forma de corazón, ideal para obsequiar a ese ser especial en nuestras vidas, este hermoso cojín lo hice con mucho cariño para mi sobrino Aarón, está decorado con un oso que podemos quitar al momento de lavar, es un proyecto sencillo de hacer y podemos decorarlo con el motivo de nuestra preferencia.

Para elaborar este cojín utilicé tela manta polar, que es una tela muy suave, ideal para los bebés. Usé retazos de color rojo,

How to do it?
I started by marking and then cutting the heart molds, I also cut 4 strips of 7 cm wide in ocher color and 4 strips of 3 cm wide in red color.
¿Cómo hacerlo?
Inicié marcando y luego cortando los moldes del corazón, además corté 4 tiras de de 7 cm de ancho en color ocre y 4 de 3 cm de ancho en color rojo.
I sewed a hem on the strips using straight stitch, then ironed and joined with straight stitch facing back to back the ochre and red ribbons.
Cosí un dobladillo en la tiras usando puntada recta, luego planché y uní con puntada recta enfrentando revés con revés las cintas ocre y rojo.
To glue the ruffle, I faced the ribbon and fabric right sides together, pinned with pins making folds every 3 cm and sewed with a straight stitch all around the heart.
Para pegar el volado enfrenté derecho con derecho la cinta y tela, sujeté con alfileres haciendo doblez cada 3 cm y cosí con puntada recta por todo el contorno del corazón.
Once the ruffle was glued, I faced right to right the front and back of the cushion, pinned and sewed all around the contour, when I finished joining both pieces I made picks in the circular part to keep the shape of the figure, also an opening of 3 cm in the center of the front part, through which I turned the piece with a lot of care not to stretch the opening.
Pegado el volado, enfrenté derecho con derecho la parte delantera y trasera del cojín, sujeté con alfileres y cosí por todo el contorno, al terminar de unir ambas piezas hice piquetes en la parte de circular para mantener la forma de la figura, además una abertura de 3 cm en el centro de la parte delantera, por la cual volteé la pieza con mucho cuidando de no estirar la abertura.
Then through the hole I filled the cushion little by little, always trying not to enlarge the opening, once filled with hand stitch I closed the opening and glued the bear in the center, this is how the cushion for my nephew is finished,
Luego por el orificio fui rellenando el cojín poco a poco, tratando siempre de no ampliar la abertura, ya relleno con puntada a mano cerré la abertura y pegué el oso en en centro, así está terminado el cojín para mi sobrino,
