Hello everyone
Greetings to you all on this beautiful day in this great community , I hope you all are doing great and having a nice week. I will be sharing with you today the cutting and sewing process of this small circle ear piece pouch made from pieces of left over fabric.
I am a seamstress who like to make use of every little left over fabric to create something beautiful and useful and this has really helped me to expand in my sewing skills, sometimes I give out this items as gift to people around me and it's makes them happy and encourage my work. Today I decided to make this little circle pouch for myself for my ear piece which was recently gifted to me. Most times when we have this tiny item in our bag, it tend to tangle with other items and as a result it can get damaged, so I made this for the safe keeping of my ear piece with a pressing button to secure it which I know will be very useful.
Join me as take you through the cutting and sewing process
From my left over pieces of fabric, I measured and cut out 2 pieces of circles with the diameter of 4.5" with interfacing ironed on it and 2 pieces of lining was cut out as well.
The lining was placed on the main fabric and I measured 0.5" from the middle and was sewn from one end to the other.
I placed the lining on the other lining and fabric to fabric then it was taken to the sewing machine where it was sewn together leaving a small opening on the lining from where it can be turned inside out
It was turned inside out through the same opening on the lining and the opening was top stitched on
One of the flip cover was folded backward and used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button on it while the fix the other pressing button to the opposite side.
This is the final and beautiful outcome with my ear piece in it to keep it safe from other items in my bag and for easy access.
I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome of this small ear piece pouch I made from pieces of left over fabric.
