Happy Easter celebration to you all on this beautiful day, it is a thing of joy that Christ died and resurrected to redeem us all from our sins, this is worth celebrating and for this, I had to make beautiful outfit for my sister's little daughters, for me, I don't think I really need a new outfit but I tried as much as possible to make the little ones happy around me as I made 2 different outfits for them from my mom's old ASO OKE and the outfit really came out nice. Below are the pictures of the dresses I made for the girls as they celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ today.
After making these beautiful outfit, it didn't occur to me that I needed to make something to cover their head with as make the outfit stylish, even though I had left over from the Aso oke I used but just few days ago, I read a post of a friend 
Since I'm making for little children, I don't really need much fabric to use as the size will be smaller compared to the one
To make these beautiful head band, using left over Aso oke fabric, I measured out 18" by 10" on fold to make the band itself where the bow will be sewn on.
For the bow, I measured just my desired length with the pieces I have, just to make a bow regardless of how small it is.
For the rope at the back, I measured 7" by 2.5"
Now to the sewing process
First, was to sew the band which I did by folding the band into 2 and I inserted the rope into it after sewing the rope on fold.
The bow was sewn using the pieces I cut out for the bow and it was folded to give me the bow design.
Finally, the bow was placed on the center of the band while I used my hand needle and thread to sew it down to the band.
I made 2 of the head band for the two little girls and it was so beautiful, now they have something to tie on their head to compliment their outfit.
