Friends of this beautiful community, today I share how I decorated an empty paint pot that I am going to use as a flower pot. First of all I must say, I used materials such as dried coconut shell, as it has a wide range of uses, plus it is easy to get. I share the tutorial.

Amigos de ésta bella comunidad, hoy comparto como decoré un pote vacío de pintura que voy a utilizar como macetero. En primer lugar debo decir, que usé materiales como la cáscara de coco seco, ya que tiene una amplia gama de usos, además es fácil de conseguir. Comparto el tutorial.

MATERIALS/ /MATERIALES

• Coconut shells.
• Empty paint pot.
• Silicone.
• Scissors.
• Mecatillo.
• Sandpaper #80.
• Brush.
• Varnish.
• Hammer.

• Cáscaras de coco.
• Pote vacío de pintura.
• Silicón.
• Tijera.
• Mecatillo.
• Lija #80.
• Brocha.
• Barniz.
• Martillo.

STEPS/ /PASOS

• Sand the coconut shells, to remove the roughness.

• Lijar las cáscaras de coco, para retirar lo áspero.

• With the help of a hammer, break the coconut shell into pieces.

• Con la ayuda del martillo hacer pedazos la cáscara del coco.

• It was not necessary to paint the pot, as it is black. Start to glue the rocker around the pot with silicone.

• No fue necesario pintar el pote, ya que es negro. Comenzar a pegar el mecatillo alrededor del pote con silicón.

• Continue to place the mecatillo. Take advantage of the opportunity to cut with the help of the scissors the little hairs that stick out of the mecatillo.

• Seguir colocando el mecatillo. Aprovechar cortar con la ayuda de la tijera los pelitos que sobresalen del mecatillo.

• Start to glue the pieces of coconut shell with silicone, fitting the pieces together.

• Comenzar a pegar con silicón los pedazos de cáscara de coco, ir encajando las piezas.

• Finish gluing all the pieces of the coconut shell to the pot.

• Terminar de pegar todas las piezas de la cáscara de coco al pote.

• Now, to give it a coat of varnish so that the material takes shine.

• Ahora, a darle una mano de barniz para que el material tome brillo.
