Hoy he querido elaborar un hermoso estuche o funda que sirve para guardar todo lo que se te ocurra, desde agujas, colores, tijeras y mucho más. esta elaborado en tela de jean reusable y con esta pieza quiero participar en el concurso de mi amiga @Jennyzer, DESAFÍO DEL RECICLAJE CREATIVO # 14 || ¡ES HORA DE RECICLAR! || ¡Juntos creamos conciencia!

Crochet needle case to keep my crochet needles and something else.

Today I wanted to make a beautiful case to store everything you can think of, from needles, colours, scissors and much more. It is made of reusable denim and with this piece I want to participate in the contest of my friend @Jennyzer, CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE # 14 || IT'S TIME TO RECYCLE! || Together we create awareness!

¿Por qué reciclar jeans?
La producción de los vaqueros y de cualquier textil genera un gran volumen de aguas residuales, por lo que, al reciclar los vaqueros, ayudas a reducir el riesgo de contaminación y el uso de agua, teniendo un gran impacto en el medio ambiente.

Why recycle jeans?
The production of jeans and any textile generates a large volume of wastewater, so by recycling jeans, you help reduce the risk of pollution and water use, making a big impact on the environment.

Daño al ecosistema en mi ciudad

En cuanto a este tema puedo decir que es lamentable que este tipo de acciones sucedan ante los ojos de todos y en eso me incluyo, lo único que siempre hacemos es lamentarnos y no tomamos ninguna acción en contra de estas personas o fábricas que dañan el medio ambiente. Por mi casa hay una fábrica de pantalones y todos sus desechos o aguas terminan en el rio tacarigua, esta agua constantemente esta de todos colores, azul, negra, verde. Da tristeza que las autoridades permitan estas cosas de verdad, sobre todo hoy en día cuando hay tanta dificultad con el agua en nuestras casas.

Damage to the ecosystem in my city

Regarding this issue I can say that it is unfortunate that this kind of actions happen before the eyes of everyone and in that I include myself, the only thing we always do is to lament and do not take any action against these people or factories that damage the environment. In my house there is a trouser factory and all their waste or water ends up in the river tacarigua, this water is constantly of all colours, blue, black, green. It is sad that the authorities allow these things, especially nowadays when there is so much difficulty with water in our homes.

Pero bueno, apartando lo malo, mejor entremos en otra materia. Como les dije hoy voy a elaborar una funda donde pienso guarda mis agujas y utensilios de tejido, así que ahora podré ir con ellas a cualquier parte sin ningún temor a perderlas. As I told you today I'm going to make a case where I plan to keep my needles and knitting tools, so now I can go anywhere with them without any fear of losing them. Paso a paso ❤ Step by step

Lo primero que vamos hacer es decorar nuestra portada del estuche, en mi caso hice un bordado en punto de cruz dedicado a nuestra comunidad, pero ustedes pueden decorar con flores tejidas, encajes o simplemente dejarlo así que seguro se verá muy bien.

The first thing we are going to do is decorate our case cover, in my case I did a cross stitch embroidery dedicated to our community, but you can decorate with woven flowers, lace or just leave it like that it will look great for sure.

Seguidamente cortamos 2 rectángulos en jean y otro en guata de 26 x 40 centímetros. Tambien vamos a cortar 2 tiras de 12x40 centímetro que será utilizado para meter las agujas. Otra tira de 10x40 que utilizaremos como pestaña en la parte superior para que no se nos salgan las agujas.

Next we cut 2 rectangles in jean and another in wadding measuring 26 x 40 centimetres. We are also going to cut 2 strips of 12x40 centimetres that will be used to put the needles in. Another strip of 10x40 that we will use as a tab at the top so that the needles don't come out.

Tomamos las tira de 12x40 y enfrentamos derecho con derecho, pasamos costura por los laterales y en un extremo, damos vuelta, planchamos y marcamos espacios de 2 y de 3 centímetros, por ultimo cosemos siguiendo las marcas.

Seguimos el mismo proceso de costura de las tiras de 10x40, en este paso debemos recortar o coser hacia adentro los extremos para que se levante.

ustedes pueden colocarle botones o cintas de raso, yo he escogido para mi estuche hacer dos tiras de la misma tela decorativa y las cosí en los extremos.

We take the 12x40 strip and face right sides together, we sew along the sides and at one end, turn over, iron and mark spaces of 2 and 3 centimetres, finally we sew following the marks.

We follow the same sewing process as for the 10x40 strips, in this step we must cut or sew the ends inwards so that it can be lifted.

You can place buttons or satin ribbons, I have chosen to make two strips of the same decorative fabric for my case and I sewed them at the ends.

Ahora solo nos resta colocar la tapa que habíamos decorado con el bordado enfrentando derecho con derecho, fijamos con alfileres y pasamos costura recta dejando una abertura de 10 centímetro para luego voltear. Volteamos, planchamos y listo.

Now we just need to place the cover that we had decorated with the embroidery right sides together, pin it and sew a straight seam leaving an opening of 10 centimetres and then flip it over. Turn over, iron and that's it.

Como ven amigos quedó muy lindo y ahora tengo un estuche hermoso para llevar a cualquier parte sin ningún temor. Por falta de tiempo no pude colocarle todas as cosas que hubiese querido, pero se le pueden colocar bolsillos transparentes para botones, perlas, hilos agujas y un montón de cosas más.

As you can see friends it was very nice and now I have a beautiful case to take anywhere without any fear. Due to lack of time I couldn't put all the things I would have liked, but you can put transparent pockets for buttons, beads, threads, needles and a lot of other things.
