Hoy quiero compartirles un modelo para decorar o más bien para convertir un lápiz tradicional de madera en una increíble varita mágica. Esta la hice porque recordé que le ofrecí a Sofía una para que juegue. Espero que les guste.

Today I want to share with you a model to decorate or rather to turn a traditional wooden pencil into an incredible magic wand. VARITA 🪄 MÁGICA./MAGIC 🪄 WAND.
Debo confesarles que la idea de hacer una varita surgió después de haber visto un LIVE en Tiktok 😁 un usuario entra a los Estudios Universales en California y muestra en vivo cada una de las atracciones que hay, cuando puedo entro y lo veo, me gusta porque es como estar allí en persona. Bueno, he entrado varias veces al castillo de Harry Potter 🪄 y aunque no soy fans, me he divertido muchísimo, Intenté crear una varita mágica tipo estándar, así como me la imaginé la hice. Les muestro el paso a paso.
I must confess that the idea of making a wand came after seeing a LIVE on Tiktok 😁 a user enters the Universal Studios in California and shows live each of the attractions there, when I can I enter and see it, I like it because it's like being there in person. Well, I have entered the Harry Potter castle several times 🪄 and although I am not a fan, I had a lot of fun, I tried to create a standard type magic wand, just as I imagined it I made it. I show you the step by step.
Materiales/Materials.
- Lápiz de grafito.
- Silicón en barra.
- Pistola para silicón.
- Pintura al frío.
- Pinceles.
- Escarcha.
- Botón o algún abalorio en forma circular.
- Graphite pencil.
- Silicone stick.
- Silicone gun.
- Cold paint.
- Brushes.
- Frosting.
- Button or some bead in circular form.
Procedimiento/Procede.
- Empecé tomando el botón que elegí. A este botón le corté el ángulo por donde se cose a la ropa para convertirlo en algo parecido a media perla, es un botón plateado muy bonito, por un lado plano y por el otro redondo. Me gustó porque le dió la forma justa que quería en la varita. Después tomé el lápiz, corté la parte de la borra para dejar esa base más plana y firme. Luego allí pegué el botón usando el silicón en barra y la pistola.
- I started by taking the button I chose. This button I cut the angle where it is sewn to the clothes to turn it into something like a half pearl, it is a very nice silver button, flat on one side and round on the other. I liked it because it gave it just the right shape I wanted on the wand. Then I took the pencil, cut off the eraser part to make that base flatter and firmer. Then I glued the button there using the silicone stick and the gun.
- Una vez bien fijo el botón en el lápiz empecé a cubrir de manera desordenada con silicón caliente todo el lápiz, dejando apenas un espacio de 2cm en la parte de abajo.
Esperé que el silicón estuviera muy seco y duro para comenzar a pintar. Tomé el color marrón en pintura al frío y con el pincel apliqué varias capas, siempre esperando que cada capa secara muy bien.
- Once the button was well fixed on the pencil, I began to cover the whole pencil with hot silicone in a disorderly way, leaving only a space of 2cm at the bottom.
I waited until the silicone was very dry and hard to start painting. I took the brown color in cold paint and with the brush I applied several coats, always waiting for each coat to dry very well.
- En la última capa apliqué una mezcla con los colores amarillo y canela, también le mezclé escarcha tornasol. Después de aplicar esta capa salpiqué un poquito de escarcha sobre la pintura.
- In the last layer I applied a mixture of yellow and cinnamon colors, I also mixed litmus frost. After applying this layer I sprinkled a little bit of frosting over the paint.
- Lo dejé secar hasta el siguiente día. Luego apliqué una capa de sellador acrílico transparente, le dió brillo y protección a la pintura. Después que secó estuve probando la 🪄 mágica y me divertí mucho. También haré una en color negro. ¿Qué les pareció? Estas varitas pueden pintarse de los colores que más nos gusten. Las preferí marrón y negra para ver qué tal se ven, me gustan porque parecen de verdad con ese toque medio rústico. Al menos ya tengo la idea y siempre se pueden mejorar los proyectos.
- I let it dry until the next day. Then I applied a coat of clear acrylic sealer, it gave the paint shine and protection. After it dried I was testing the magic 🪄 and had a lot of fun. I will also make one in black, what did you think? These wands can be painted any color we like. I preferred them brown and black to see how they look, I like them because they look like the real thing with that half rustic touch. At least I already have the idea and you can always improve your projects.
