Happy Easter to everyone. A few days ago, in honor of Holy Week, I made a decorative Easter chick. Since we’re wrapping up the Easter celebration today, I’m sharing this 3D decorative Easter bunny made using the quilling technique.

Feliz día de pascuas para todos. Hace unos días conmemorando la semana mayor realicé la figura decorativa de un pollito de pascuas, como hoy finalizamos la celebración Santa, les dejo esta vez la figura decorativa de un conejo de pascuas en 3D, en la técnica de quilling.
Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Plantilla para moldear círculos.
• Cartulinas.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Canutillos negros.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
- Ribbons for quilling.
- Needle for quilling.
- Template for molding circles.
- Cardboards.
- Paper cutting guillotine.
- Black tubes.
- Extra strong white glue (carpentry glue).
- Brush.
- Scissors.
• Start by taking a 4 mm wide blue quilling strip. Use the needle to roll it up until you reach the end, then secure it with extra-strong white glue and remove it from the needle to form a closed circle.
• Shape it with your fingers into a basket-like form. Apply extra-strong white glue to the inside to prevent the piece from shifting or warping, then let it dry thoroughly before continuing.
• Using the same method as before, create a closed circle with 3 mm wide white paper tape. Shape it using a 15 mm circle template, and apply glue to the inside.
• Take the blue basket and use scissors to make some wavy cuts around the edge.
• Finally, attach both pieces together.
• Comenzamos tomando cinta para quilling de 4 mm de ancho de color azul, con la aguja vamos a enrollar hasta llegar al final de la misma, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte sacamos de la aguja para obtener un círculo cerrado.
• Vamos a moldear con los dedos formando una especie de canasta, aplicaremos pega blanca extra fuerte por su parte interna para evitar que la pieza se mueva o se deforme, dejamos secar muy bien para poder seguir trabajando.
• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores realizaremos un círculo cerrado con cinta de color blanca de 3 mm de ancho, moldearemos en una plantilla para círculos en la medida número 15 mm, aplicamos pega por su parte interna.
• Vamos a tomar la canasta azul, con una tijera le vamos a hacer algunos cortes alrededor en forma ondulada.
• Para finalizar uniremos ambas piezas.

• To make the ears, take 3 mm wide blue and yellow ribbon, join them together to form a single strip, and wind it around the needle, starting with the yellow part and ending with the blue. Remove it from the needle, loosen it slightly, and secure it with extra-strong white glue. You’ll end up with an open circle; you’ll need two of these.
• Shape them into teardrops, then attach both ears with glue. Once dry, glue them to the top of the white part.
• For the eyes, I used two black pipe cleaners, and for the mouth, I cut a small piece of black ribbon and glued it to the bunny’s face.
• Para hacer las orejas tomaremos cinta de 3 mm de ancho de color azul y amarillo, uniremos formando una sola cinta, enrollaremos con la aguja iniciando por la parte amarilla y finalizando por la azul, sacamos de la aguja soltamos un poco y sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte. Obtendremos un círculo abierto, necesitaremos dos iguales.
• Vamos a moldear en forma de gota, luego uniremos ambas orejas con pega, una vez seca pegaremos arriba en la parte blanca.
• Para los ojos tomé dos canutillos de color negro, y para la boca corté un trocito de cinta de color negro, pegué en la cara del conejito.

• To decorate it, I decided to make a tiny five-petaled flower. Using yellow ribbon that was 1 millimeter wide, I cut out five small circles, one of which was a darker shade of yellow.
• Then, using tweezers, I shaped the petals into leaves, grouped the small petals together to form the flower, and glued the darker yellow circle to the top. Once the flower was ready, I glued it to the front of the bunny’s body.
• To finish, I made two small yellow droplets and glued them on either side of the flower.
This is how I finished this little Easter bunny as a 3D decorative figure using the quilling technique.
• Para decorar decidí hacer una muy pequeñita flor de cinco pétalos. Con cinta amarilla de un milímetro de ancho realicé cinco pequeños círculos, uno de ellos es de un color amarillo más oscuro.
• Luego moldee con una pinza en forma de hojas, agrupé los pequeños pétalos y formé la flor, en la parte de arriba pegué el círculo amarillo más oscuro. Lista la flor la pegué de la parte del frente del cuerpo del conejito.
• Para finalizar hice dos pequeñas gotitas de color amarilla y las pegué a cada lado de la flor.
De esta manera finalice este pequeño conejito de pascuas en forma de una figura decorativa en 3D, en la técnica de quilling.
