Hola a mi gente bonita de HIVE, y a toda mi comunidad y gran familia de artistas de #Hivediy, deseándoles a todos días llenos de muchas bendiciones, y la mejor de las buenas vibras, me encuentro por aquí para mostrarle un nuevo trabajo, como siempre lleno de mucho amor y cariño para ustedes.
Para hoy les traigo la elaboración de una mariposa combinada, en la técnica de quilling con su respectivo tutorial paso a paso.
Es una pieza que pueden decidir cómo utilizar, ya que pueden con ella decorar una bolsa o caja para regalo realizando algunos otros apliques en quilling de los que ya he venido haciendo a lo largo de mis publicaciones (los invito a revisarlas), usarla como accesorio a su gusto para la elaboración de un llavero, colgante decorativo para una cartera, monedero, celular, o también pueden darle uso de dije en la formación de un conjunto de collar (como medallón), o unos bonitos zarcillos colgante. Sencillamente pueden adaptar la pieza a su gusto y elaborarla del color, combinación, tamaño, y medidas de su preferencia y usarla de la manera más adecuada para ustedes. Dicho esto, adelante…

Materiales:📏✏️✂️
• Cinta de quilling de 9mm de ancho, beige, naranja y amarillo tostado. (O los colores para realizar la combinación de su preferencia).
• Aguja para quilling.
• Tijera.
• Regla con medidas de circunferencia.
• Pega blanca.
• Perlas pequeñas color verde.
• Pinza punta fina.
Medidas de las cintas:🌈
• Para elaborar nuestra mariposa, les muestro en la imagen las medidas, y la cantidad de cintas que vamos a necesitar para elaborar la pieza completa. Para las alas superiores vamos necesitar para cada ala, cintas de quilling de 9mm de ancho, color beige, naranja y amarillo tostado. De color beige vamos a necesitar 2 cintas beige de 9mm de ancho x 14cms de largo, 1 cinta naranja de 9mm de ancho x 14cms de largo, y una amarillo tostado de 9mm de ancho x 14cms de largo. Para las alas inferiores vamos a necesitar para cada ala, 1 cinta beige de 9mm de ancho x 7cms de largo, 1 cinta amarillo tostado de 9mm de ancho x 7cms de largo, y 1 cinta naranja de 9mm de ancho x 7cms de largo, para agilizar el trabajo uniremos los tres trozos mencionados en el orden como aparece en la imagen, por ultimo necesitaremos otra cinta naranja de 9mm de ancho x 7cms de largo. Para las alas necesitaremos solo 1 cinta color amarillo tostado, de 9mm de ancho x 14cms de largo.
Paso a paso:💖
• Alas superiores: Comencemos tomando las cintas de 9mm de ancho x 14cms de largo, beige, naranja y amarilla tostado, con ellas vamos a proceder con la ayuda de nuestra aguja para quilling a realizar 3 círculos abiertos, con la beige haremos el circulo en la circunferencia número 9 de la regla, y con la amarilla tostado y la naranja los haremos en el círculo número 7 de la regla, sellamos nuestros círculos con pega blanca.
Para consultar más detalladamente algunas de las figuras básicas que utilizare en este post, los invito a abrir el link que les deje al principio donde aparecen la mayoría de las figuras básicas de quilling, de igual manera pueden dar un paseo por mi blog donde apreciaran en reiteradas ocasiones la realización de este tipo figuras básicas, las más complicadas si serán explicadas detenidamente en esta publicación.
• Al tener nuestros tres círculos abiertos listos, le daremos forma de gota, al terminar de darles su forma procederemos a unir las tres piezas con pega blanca, colocando la beige que es la más grande en el medio.
• Unidas las tres piezas en forma de gotas vamos a tomar la cinta beige de 9mm x 14cms de ancho que teníamos reservada, esta cinta la pasaremos alrededor de nuestras tres piezas al llegar al final de la cinta sellaremos con pega. Para hacer el ala restante superior, repetiremos el mismo procedimiento. Reservamos nuestras alas superiores.
• Alas inferiores: Tomaremos la cinta de 9mm de ancho que teníamos unida en tres colores, beige, amarillo tostado y naranja, con la ayuda de la aguja para quilling enrollaremos empezando por la parte beige, realizaremos un circulo abierto y lo colocaremos en la circunferencia número 12 de la regla, terminaremos sellando con pega blanca. Ahora le daremos forma de gota, al terminar de darle esta forma tomaremos la pieza, y la doblaremos al medio uniendo ambas puntas, sellamos con un poco de pega y tomaremos la cinta que teníamos reservada color naranja de 9mm de ancho x 7cms de largo y la pasaremos alrededor de la pieza tal cual lo hicimos con las piezas del ala superior. Para el ala restante inferior, repetimos el mismo procedimiento. Reservamos estas piezas.
• Ahora vamos con las antenas de nuestra mariposa, tomaremos la cinta amarilla tostado de 9mm de ancho x 14cms de largo y doblaremos en partes iguales, en el medio añadiremos un poco de pega para unir dos dedos antes de llegar al final de la cinta, unimos formando una especie de Y. Para darle forma a las antenas con la ayuda de nuestra aguja para quilling vamos a enrollar las puntas que quedaron sin unir con pega, lo haremos de manera inversa formando un espiral de cada lado.
• Ya tenemos las alas superiores, las alas inferiores, y las antenas listas, procedamos a unir nuestras piezas, con pega uniremos todo de manera armónica, respaldándonos en las antenas, las hice con una base larga para que la pieza tenga mayor solides.
• Por ultimo vamos a colocarle a las mariposas un detalle que las haga lucir más delicadas, en este caso decidí colocarles unas pequeñas perlas color verde para que hicieran contraste con la combinación que escogí, coloque pega blanca en la parte central de la mariposa y con la ayuda de la pinza punta fina coloque las perlitas, de esta manera ya tenemos lista nuestra bonita mariposa.
• Como dije al principio quise realizar esta pieza para que pueden escoger su uso, de manera opcional le sugiero que, si van a utilizarla para una decoración de una caja, bolsa, cotillón, tarjeta, le pueden agregar un poco de pega blanca como protección, pero si va a utilizarlo como un accesorio, aplique, llavero, o para la parte de bisutería (como dije de collar, pulsera o zarcillos), deben colocarle una plastificación liquida, con algún producto acrílico o como he vendido realizando en mis procesos de bisutería, colocando resina artística más solvente x ligados, ya que de esta manera su pieza quedara totalmente resistente, y plastificada para su uso.
Adicional a la mariposa que lleve a cabo para mostrar su paso a paso, realice dos más para que pudieran observar como lucen con una cinta más fina, con otro tamaño, y con combinaciones de colores y perlas diferentes.

For today I bring you the elaboration of a combined butterfly, in the quilling technique with its respective step by step tutorial.
It is a piece that you can decide how to use, since you can use it to decorate a bag or gift box by making some other quilling appliqués that I have been making throughout my publications (I invite you to review them), use it as an accessory to your liking for making a keychain, decorative pendant for a wallet, purse, cell phone, or you can also use it as a charm in the formation of a set of necklace (as a medallion), or a beautiful pendant earrings. You can simply adapt the piece to your taste and make it in the color, combination, size, and measurements of your preference and use it in the way that best suits you. That said, go ahead...

Materials:📏✏️✂️✂️.
- 9mm wide quilling ribbon, beige, orange and tan yellow (Or the colors to make the combination of your preference).
- Quilling needle.
- Scissors.
- Ruler with circumference measurements.
- White glue.
- Small green beads.
- Fine tip tweezers.
Tape sizes:🌈
- To make our butterfly, I show you in the image the measurements and the amount of ribbons that we will need to make the complete piece. For the upper wings we will need for each wing, quilling ribbons of 9mm wide, beige, orange and tan yellow. For the beige color we will need 2 beige ribbons 9mm wide x 14cms long, 1 orange ribbon 9mm wide x 14cms long, and 1 yellow quilling ribbon 9mm wide x 14cms long. For the lower wings we will need for each wing, 1 beige ribbon 9mm wide x 7cms long, 1 toasted yellow ribbon 9mm wide x 7cms long, and 1 orange ribbon 9mm wide x 7cms long, to speed up the work we will join the three pieces mentioned in the order as shown in the image, finally we will need another orange ribbon 9mm wide x 7cms long. For the wings we will need only 1 yellow ribbon, 9mm wide x 14cms long.
Step by step:💖
- Upper wings: Let's start taking the ribbons of 9mm wide x 14cms long, beige, orange and yellow toasted, with them we will proceed with the help of our quilling needle to make 3 open circles, with the beige we will make the circle in the circumference number 9 of the ruler, and with the yellow toasted and orange we will make them in the circle number 7 of the ruler, we seal our circles with white glue.
To consult in more detail some of the basic figures that I will use in this post, I invite you to open the link that I left at the beginning where most of the basic quilling figures appear, you can also take a walk through my blog where you will appreciate in several occasions the realization of this type of basic figures, the more complicated ones will be explained in detail in this publication.
- When we have our three open circles ready, we will give them a drop shape, when we finish giving them their shape we will proceed to join the three pieces with white glue, placing the beige one which is the largest in the middle.
- Once the three pieces are united in the shape of drops we will take the beige ribbon of 9mm x 14cms wide that we had reserved, we will pass this ribbon around our three pieces when we reach the end of the ribbon we will seal it with glue. To make the remaining upper wing, we will repeat the same procedure. We reserve our upper wings.
- Lower wings: We will take the 9mm wide ribbon that we had united in three colors, beige, tan yellow and orange, with the help of the quilling needle we will roll starting with the beige part, we will make an open circle and we will place it in the circumference number 12 of the ruler, we will finish sealing it with white glue. Now we will give it a drop shape, when we finish giving it this shape we will take the piece, and we will fold it in the middle joining both ends, we will seal it with a little glue and we will take the orange ribbon that we had reserved, 9mm wide x 7cms long and we will pass it around the piece just as we did with the pieces of the upper wing. For the remaining lower wing, repeat the same procedure. We reserve these pieces.
- Now let's go with the antennae of our butterfly, we will take the toasted yellow ribbon 9mm wide x 14cms long and fold in equal parts, in the middle we will add a little glue to join two fingers before reaching the end of the tape, we join forming a kind of Y shape. To give shape to the antennas with the help of our quilling needle we will roll the ends that were not joined with glue, we will do it the other way around forming a spiral on each side.
- Now we have the upper wings, the lower wings, and the antennas ready, let's proceed to join our pieces, with glue we will join everything harmoniously, leaning on the antennas, I made them with a long base so that the piece has greater solidity.
- Finally we are going to place to the butterflies a detail that makes them look more delicate, in this case I decided to place some small green pearls to contrast with the combination I chose, I placed white glue in the central part of the butterfly and with the help of the fine tip tweezers I placed the pearls, in this way we have our beautiful butterfly ready.
- As I said at the beginning I wanted to make this piece so you can choose its use, optionally I suggest that if you are going to use it for a decoration of a box, bag, cotillion, card, you can add a little white glue for protection, but if you are going to use it as an accessory, applique, keychain, or for the costume jewelry part (as I said necklace, bracelet or tendrils), you must put a liquid plasticization, with some acrylic product or as I have sold doing in my processes of costume jewelry, placing artistic resin plus solvent x ligados, since in this way your piece will be totally resistant, and plasticized for its use.
- In addition to the butterfly that I made to show its step by step, I made two more so that you could see how they look with a thinner ribbon, with a different size, and with different color combinations and beads.
