Greetings to all my fellow creative friends in this community , hope you all is doing well and great. Creativity takes on many forms, but one of the most satisfying is working with clay. With its soft, moldable texture and earthy feel, clay connects the hands to the heart, giving shape to imagination. Today I decided to build a DIY mini hut and courtyard out of clay. No fancy tools, No expensive materials, Just soft clay, some twigs, pebbles, and a head full of ideas. So without further ado let's dive into the process of making this.
Materials
• Clay box
• Plastic knife
step 1
First To make the hut and the yard of the hut, first of all I take a green colored clay and place it in the palm of my hand and flatten it to give a round shape.
step 2
Then I take another large piece of yellow colored clay and flatten it with my fingers to make the top part of the clay block triangular and the bottom part square.
step 3
Now I place the yellow colored clay block on the green clay block made in round shape.
step 4
Now I take a purple colored clay and put it between the palms of both hands and rub it to give it a long shape.
step 5
Now I connect the thin long purple clay block to the top of the yellow clay block placed on top of the green clay block.
step 6
Already we can see that a small hut is made of yellow and purple clay for which now I can make small hut doors and windows with purple, orange clay and place them in the front of the hut.
step 7
Now I take out pink colored clay from a plastic packet and then divide it into small pieces.
step 8
Now i take a piece of black clay and rub it between the palms of both hands to give it a perpendicular shape and place the piece of black clay in a perpendicular shape next to the hut. Then I attach the previously made pink clay blocks on the black clay blocks.
step 9
Now I divided another piece of green colored Clay into small pieces and make a big tree leaf made of each piece.
step 10
Then i attach the green colored leaves to the tree.
step 11
Finally, I make a small road by placing two pieces of black clay blocks in front of the hut and add some red flowers to the hut to enhance the beauty of the yard.
Then at last my mini hut is now finally ready and below is my final result
A mini clay hut and courtyard may seem like a small project, but it reflects a big story—of rural life, simplicity, and the beauty of handmade creations. In that tiny creation, I saw a reflection of something larger—how beautiful life is when built slowly, with hands dirty and heart full. Thanks for sticking with me till the end and have a nice day.
