Hagamos un lindo adorno de foami (Leoncito en tronco) utilizando un cautin de soldar. Let's make a cute foami ornament (Lion in a log) using a soldering iron.

Entonces te invito a que me acompañes y veas como hacerlo.

Vas a utilizar:

Seguimos con el procedimiento:

Paso 1:
Recortar y armar el tronco.

• Con la ayuda de un compás marca sobre el cartón media circunferencia y recorta dos piezas o marcas la circunferencia y divides en dos mitades.
• Aparte mide el contorno de una media luna y marca en el cartón, una tira con la medida tomada y le colocas el ancho deseado, aumenta a cada lado dos (2)cm para luego recortar y sacar pequeños triángulos (estas serán las pestañas para pegar).
• Luego aplica silicón en las pestañas y pega a cada lado las mitades.
• Ahora coloca el tronco sobre el foami y marca un lado (ver foto).

Paso 2:
Forrar con foami el tronco.

• Con la cinta métrica mide el contorno de la media luna y recorta una tira en foami, aplica silicón y para terminarlo, forra la parte trasera aplicando silicón y pega una pieza de cartulina blanca.

Paso 3:
Transferir, recortar y pintar el león.

• Comienza remarcando el dibujo con lápiz de mina blanda, luego coloca el dibujo cara con cara sobre el foami y con la ayuda de la tijera frota para transferirlo, marcando cada pieza en el color correspondiente y recorta.
• Ahora con el pincel angular difumina las piezas mojando en agua, luego pasa por un pañito para quitar el exceso y moja la punta con el color de pintura correspondiente y pasa por el contorno de las piezas.
• Igualmente pinta el contorno de los ojos, deja secar y rellena con pintura blanca, deja secar nuevamente y aplica el verde.

Paso 4:
Terminar de pintar y termoformar.

• Aplica color verde oscuro en la parte inferior del ojo, deja secar y con la punta trasera del pincel haz la pupila, deja secar , delinea pestañas y pon un punto de luz, delinea las patas y piezas restantes.
  Para termoformar, calienta la plancha a temperatura media y coloca las piezas para que tomen forma y las que quieras con más profundidad, coloca sobre un pedazo de goma espuma y presiona con el acocador.

Paso 5:
Pegar y armar piezas del león.

• Pinta con tiza las mejillas, luego pega el hocico, haz una pequeña incisión para meter las orejas, aparte pega la carita y patas, deja secar y luego pega sobre el foami amarillo para recortar la orilla y así quedó.

Paso 6:
Dibujar y texturizar tronco.

• Calienta el cautín y comienza a dibujar pasando poco a poco sobre el foami y haz líneas simulando la textura del tronco.
• Luego moja el pincel en agua y pasa por la pintura marrón y comienza a pintar el tronco, haciendo como betas de madera, deja secar y ahora pinta algunas de las formas de la madera (ver foto)

Paso 7:
Dibujar, recortar, pintar y termoforma hojas

• Dibuja sobre el foami verde unas hojas o saca un patrón en papel, recorta, pinta y calienta la plancha, coloca sobre y dale la forma que desees y pega en el tronco, hazlo a tu gusto.

Paso 8:
Armar el adorno.

• Pega con silicón caliente el león al tronco, y las hojas, como ya te dije decorando a tu gusto... y así estará casi terminado.

Paso 9:

• Para Terminar este adorno, haz un lacito y pega justo debajo de la carita y ahora sí quedará listo, si quieres guindar puedes pegar detràs un pedacito de cinta haciendo una lazada y listo.

My today's publication is dedicated to the little ones of the house, it is a cute and decorative little lion that I made in foami to decorate their room, I also made a trunk drawing lines resembling wood, using a soldering iron to make the texture.

The soldering iron is an electric tool used to solder using tin, but I use it for some of my crafts. There is also another very similar electric tool called pyrographer and is used to draw by burning on paper, wood or leather ideal for crafts.

So I invite you to join me and see how to do it.

We continue with the procedure:

Cut out and assemble the trunk.

• With the help of a compass mark on the cardboard half circumference and cut out two pieces or mark the circumference and divide into two halves.
• Measure the outline of a half moon and mark on the cardboard a strip with the measure taken and place the desired width, increase each side two (2) cm and then cut out small triangles (these will be the tabs to glue).
• Then apply silicone on the tabs and glue the halves on each side.
• Now place the trunk on the foami and mark one side (see photo).

Step 2:
Line the log with foami.

• With the tape measure measure the outline of the crescent and cut a strip of foami, apply silicone and to finish it, line the back side applying silicone and glue a piece of white cardboard.

Step 3:
Transfer, cut out and paint the lion.

• Start by outlining the drawing with a soft lead pencil, then place the drawing face to face on the foami and with the help of the scissors rub it to transfer it, marking each piece in the corresponding color and cut it out.
• Now with the angled brush blur the pieces by dipping them in water, then wipe off the excess with a tissue and wet the tip with the corresponding color of paint and pass around the contour of the pieces.
• Also paint the outline of the eyes, let dry and fill with white paint, let dry again and apply the green.

Step 4:
Finish painting and thermoforming.

• Apply dark green color on the lower part of the eye, let it dry and with the back tip of the brush make the pupil, let it dry, outline eyelashes and put a light spot, outline the legs and remaining pieces.
  To thermoform, heat the iron to medium temperature and place the pieces to take shape and the ones you want with more depth, place on a piece of foam rubber and press with the applicator.

Step 5:
Glue and assemble pieces of the lion.

• Paint with chalk the cheeks, then glue the snout, make a small incision to put the ears, glue the face and paws, let dry and then glue on the yellow foami to cut the edge and so it was.

Step 6:
Draw and texturize the trunk.

• Heat the soldering iron and start drawing, passing little by little over the foami and make lines simulating the texture of the trunk.
• Then dip the brush in water and go through the brown paint and start painting the trunk, making like wood chips, let it dry and now paint some of the shapes of the wood (see photo).

Step 7:
Draw, cut out, paint and thermoform leaves.

• Draw on the green foami some leaves or draw a pattern on paper, cut out, paint and heat the iron, place on top and give it the shape you want and glue it on the log, do it to your liking.

Step 8:
Assemble the ornament.

• Glue with hot silicone the lion to the trunk, and the leaves, as I said, decorating to your liking ... and so it will be almost finished.

Step 9:

• To finish this ornament, make a bow and glue it just below the face and now it will be ready, if you want to hang it, you can glue a little piece of ribbon on the back making a loop and that's it.
