I have done a lot of DIY projects lately, and one of my favorites is these heels. I bought the heels online on a thrift shop for around 5$. I had a plan to add rhinestones to the heel, and maybe put a nice ribbon on them too. I searched around youtube for how I could do it and after a little bit of inspiration I just started.
Putting on rhinestones isn't hard at all, it only takes a lot of patience and time. I use a glue ment for fabric, that also can handle water.
I started with putting rhinestones around the corner of the heel.
I used rhinestones in the size 2,4 around the heel, and mixed it with 2,8 mm inside of the heel. I also filled in with smaller rhinestones where it's needed.
When the heel was done and shiny with rhinestones,
I started with the bow. I didn't really know how I should do this, but thanx to THIS YOUTUBE I learned it quick. I thought this should be the hardest just because I am a perfectionist. But this was kind of easy actually.
You need a needle and a black thread to do this, and some nice fabric for the bow. After making it I only glued it on.
To make the bow complete I glued a little pice of the fabric around the bow so it looks like a real bow.
Aaaaand this is the end result!
What do you think?
I kind of regret to not making the bow a little bit bigger, but when I was making it I was scared for the bows to touch each other when I walked. But this is my first heel I ever DIY, and I love the result.
I have actually filmed one of the other DIY projects too!
MY FIRST DIY FILM... so stay tuned! 😍
