Saludos querida comunidad.

He pasado un tiempo buscando unas cortinas bonitas para mi baño, las que consigo en el mercado son plásticas de mala calidad, con unos diseños de mal gusto, es el tipo de cortina que es desechable porque rápidamente con el contacto con el agua agarra moho y se convierte en un bioma que hay que botar. Aun me quedaba un trozo de la tela verde aquella que usé para hacer cortinas para mi cocina, el trozo que me quedó tenía la justa medida de la ventana del baño. Mi baño es de color verde, desde las paredes hasta el WC y el lavamanos, algo pasado de moda el color para estos tiempos, tomando en cuenta que la casa es algo antigua. Ojalá pudiera cambiar esos colores algún día y convertirla en algo mas aestetic. Mientras tanto hice esta cortina que me quedó muy bonita a mi hijo le encantó. Con retazos de tela y reciclando algunos botones podemos crear algo bonito.

Greetings dear community.
I have spent some time looking for some nice curtains for my bathroom, the ones I get in the market are plastic of poor quality, with bad taste designs, it is the type of curtain that is disposable because quickly with contact with water it gets mold and becomes a biome that has to be thrown away. I still had a piece of the green fabric I used to make curtains for my kitchen, the piece I had left was the right size for the bathroom window. My bathroom is green, from the walls to the toilet and the sink, a bit old fashioned for these times, considering that the house is a bit old. I wish I could change those colors someday and turn it into something more aesthetic. In the meantime I made this curtain that was very nice and my son loved it. With scraps of fabric and recycling some buttons we can create something nice.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

No hay mucho qué medir pues el largo y el ancho de la tela era el mismo de la ventana, asi que tuve suerte.

Divido la tela verde en dos partes luego mido el ancho y el largo para cortar la tela con estampado.

Con la máquina de coser, paso una recta haciendo un dobladillo ancho que va en la parte superior.

There is not much to measure as the length and width of the fabric was the same as the window, so I was lucky.
I divide the green fabric into two parts then measure the width and length to cut the patterned fabric.
With the sewing machine, I sew a straight line making a wide hem that goes on the top.

Step 2️⃣/ paso 2️⃣

Recorto varias tiras para que sean por donde pasará el tubo de cortina, tomo la medida de separación y corto las necesarias, en mi caso fueron seis.

A cada tira le cosemos un dobladillo por cada lado.

I cut several strips to be where the curtain tube will pass through, I take the separation measurement and cut the necessary ones, in my case there were six.
We sew a hem on each side of each strip.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Unimos la pieza superior con el trozo de tela estampada, primero con zig zag luego con una recta, volteamos por el derecho y cosemos una recta haciendo pespunte.

Join the top piece with the piece of printed fabric, first with a zig zag, then with a straight line, turn right side out and sew a straight line with backstitch.

Step 4️⃣/ paso 4️⃣

Ahora une la segunda parte del largo de la cortina con el trozo de tela estampado. De la misma forma que el anterior, primero con zig zag, luego con una recta, voltea la tela al derecho y luego cose una recta como un pespunte.

Ahora cose un dobladillo de cada lado de la cortina y en la parte inferior, del ruedo.

Now join the second part of the length of the curtain with the printed piece of fabric. In the same way as the previous one, first with zig zag, then with a straight, turn the fabric right side out and then sew a straight as a backstitch.
Now sew a hem on each side of the curtain and at the bottom of the hem.

Step 5️⃣/ paso 5️⃣

Mide la separación de cada trozo de tela por donde pasará la cortina, cose con una recta por delante y por detrás. Repite este procedimiento con cada una.

Luego cose un botón como decoración y listo, tuve un excelente resultado a pesar que tuve contratiempos con la tela, es demasiado dura para la máquina y la aguja le costaba atravesarla.
