Hoy pinté una mini tortuga con la intención de hacerle una decoración, la decoración la hice en masa flexible, como hay que esperar que seque y endurezca, hoy no la puedo mostrar, en las próximas publicaciones quizá lo comparta. Todo depende del tiempo que necesite para estar listo.

Estas piezas de cerámica en biscocho me las obsequió un amigo, he estado comprando algunos colores de pinturas que son necesarias para pintarlas y hacerles algunas técnicas que pude estudiar cuando joven.

Me gusta pintar cerámica, es una actividad que me relaja y así voy desempolvando algunos conocimientos. Hoy comparto contigo esta pequeña tortuguita y te explico cómo lo hice.

Greetings, community!
Today I painted a mini turtle with the intention of making a decoration for it. I made the decoration out of flexible clay, but since it has to dry and harden, I can't show it today. Maybe I'll share it in future posts. It all depends on how long it takes to be ready.
A friend gave me these bisque ceramic pieces. I've been buying some paint colors that are necessary to paint them and use some techniques that I studied when I was younger.
I like painting ceramics. It's an activity that relaxes me, and it allows me to brush up on some skills. Today, I'm sharing this little turtle with you and explaining how I made it.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Prepara la pieza, lima el biscocho de cerámica para quitar la porosidad e imperfecciones.

Aplica la primera capa de color base, en este caso el marrón, no es un marrón muy oscuro. Lo aplicas en el caparazón.

Aplica una capa generosa de envejecedor en aceite sobre el caparazón de la tortuga y rápidamente retiras con un paño, no debes dejar que seque

Prepare the piece, file the ceramic biscuit to remove porosity and imperfections.
Apply the first coat of base color, in this case brown, not a very dark brown. Apply it to the shell.
Apply a generous coat of oil-based aging agent to the turtle's shell and quickly remove it with a cloth; do not let it dry.

Step 2️⃣/ paso 2️⃣

Con la pintura verde pinta el cuerpo de la tortuga.

El envejecedor en aceite mancha mucho la pieza, es por esto que lo hacemos primero, debes cerciorarte de cubrir todas las manchas con la pintura verde, cuantas capas sean necesarias dejando secar una entre la otra.

Si tienes una esponjita el efecto quedará mejor, toma un poco de pintura en ella y quita el exceso, luego da pequeños toquecitos en la cara y las patitas de la tortuga con puntura color amarillo, le da un efecto bonito, esta combinación generalmente las uso cuando pinto digital.

Si es necesario, retoca el caparazón con el mismo envejecedor y un pincel delgado.

Paint the turtle's body with green paint.
The oil-based aging agent stains the piece a lot, which is why we do it first. Make sure you cover all the stains with green paint, applying as many coats as necessary and letting each one dry before applying the next.
If you have a sponge, the effect will be better. Dip it in a little paint and remove the excess, then dab the turtle's face and legs with yellow paint. This gives a nice effect. I usually use this combination when I paint digitally.
If necessary, touch up the shell with the same aging agent and a thin brush.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Con el pincel cero realiza los detalles de los ojos y la boca.

Deja secar.

Use the zero brush to add the details to the eyes and mouth.
Leave to dry.

Step 4️⃣/ paso 4️⃣

Deja secar bien la pieza para aplicarle el brillo al agua. Luego de ello deja secar bien en un lugar donde no caiga polvo.

Esta fue mi primera parte del pequeño escenario que pienso crear para mi tortuguita. Espero verlos muy pronto para el final.
