Recibí un maravilloso regalo que me hizo muy feliz, mis pinturas al frío, hacía tiempo que las quería y al fin me las compraron. Estaba tan emocionada que no sabía que pintar, jajaja.
Las pinturas al frío, son más permanentes que las acuarelas pero tienen la ventaja que no necesitan calor para fijarlas, y con ellas puedes pintar varios tipos de superficies.
Bueno yo me puse a buscar en casa que pintar, realmente quería era probar la textura y la fijación del color, elegí un guacal pequeño de madera donde mi mamá hace arreglos frutales y florales, ella siempre lo está cambiando así que le pareció genial que le hiciera una decoración con mis dibujos.
Cómo era la primera vez que usaba este tipo de pinturas pensé hacer algo sencillo, solo pintar las maderas laterales y luego decidir qué motivo o dibujo hacer sobre cada una.
No lijé la superficie de la madera ya que estaba en su estado natural y realmente así me gusta ya que tiene su encanto rústico.
Elegí los colores y comence a pintar con un pincel redondo mediano, un color por cada listón de madera, le coloqué un diseño de puntos o lunares con el extremo del mango del pincel. Así como se ve en las fotos.
Hice lo mismo con la otra cara pero con colores diferentes.
En los laterales del guacal decidí que no le pondría un color de base, pero si le haría un dibujo, en uno hice un cactus, que no me resultó muy fácil de hacer sobre todo la parte de las líneas blancas que representan a las espinas.
En el otro lateral hice un diseño de flores que fue más fácil de pintar, y cuando secaron los dibujos use un marcador negro para los bordes y así definir y resaltar los dibujos.
De esta manera quedó terminado mi trabajo con este lindo guacal, y como es temporada de aguacates y la mata está dando la cosecha de junio, lo llené con estos deliciosos frutos.
¿Que dicen amigos, verdad que quedó lindo?
Pues mi Mamá estaba feliz y ya los colocó como decoración en la ventana de la cocina.

I received a wonderful gift that made me very happy, my cold paints, I had wanted them for a long time and they finally bought them for me. I was so excited I didn't know what to paint, hahaha.
The cold paints are more permanent than watercolors but have the advantage that they do not need heat, and with them you can paint various types of surfaces.
Well, I started looking for something to paint at home, I really wanted to try the texture and the color fixation, I chose a small wooden crate where my mom makes fruit and flower arrangements, she is always changing it so she thought it was great that I made a decoration with my drawings.
Since it was the first time I used this kind of paints I thought I would do something simple, just paint the side wood and then decide what motif or drawing to do on each one.
I did not sand the surface of the wood since it was in its natural state and I really like it that way since it has its rustic charm.
I chose the colors and began to paint with a medium round brush, one color for each wood strip, I placed a design of dots or polka dots with the end of the handle of the brush. As you can see in the pictures.
I did the same with the other side but with different colors.
On the sides of the crate I decided that I would not put a base color, but I would make a drawing, in one I made a cactus, which was not very easy to do especially the part of the white lines that represent the thorns.
On the other side I made a flower design that was easier to paint, and when the drawings dried I used a black marker for the edges to define and highlight the drawings.
This is how I finished my work with this cute little crate, and since it's avocado season and the bush is giving the June harvest, I filled it with these delicious fruits.

Well, my mom was happy and has already placed them as decoration in the kitchen window.
