I was happy to see this topic, I was unable to submit my entry because I was unable to complete my project so I decided to share my DIY projects today.
I started by gathering my tools which I used cardboard, paper tape, scissors, glue, pen, and a ruler.
I used three different colors of cardboard, green, pink, and blue, for my project I made a paper flower vase, I saw this online some years back and decided to do something related to it using my cardboard.
I cut out the cone shape I would be using for the flower vase and used my pressing iron to press it because the cardboard was folded, and I needed to straighten it in other to give me the perfect shape I desired

This is it after pressing it, I formed it into a cone shape by using my hands to roll it
After getting my desired shape then I used my glue to gum it together and set it aside, I proceeded by forming the stand so that it would be able to stand on its own, I used my paper tape to get the circle shape and used my pen to outline it out before trimming it with my scissors.
I notch from one edge to the middle of the shaped cardboard then use it to form a cone as well, I gum it together the notch the base of the bigger cone for it to sit well on the stand.
I glue the two cones together then use another cardboard to form decorations on it for it to look attractive, I cut out another cardboard and make it to form a rose flower or something similar to the gum to the cone-shaped cardboard
The next step is using another color to design a leaf structure on it, I cut out another cardboard then cut it into a leaf-shaped structure, and then glued it together under the rose. After that I had some beads at home then I used them to decorate the starlike area of the vase.
I sense that the case will never look attractive without a flower, it is just a man without a wife, so I decided to make a flower for the case so that people can see and relate to my project, I chose to use only one color of cardboard for the flower, I make a rose flower using my pink cardboard, though I didn't take pictures of how I arrived at that but I will explain it.
I used a broomstick to roll out the cardboard to form the stem then I glued the edge together with the other part and set it aside, I formed six Circe shapes to form the flower and set it aside as well, so I moved on to form the leaf-like shape as I did for the cone, I used two of it using the same color of cardboard, I then glued everything together but not at once, I firstly glued the circle shaped cardboard with the stem before adding the leaf-like shape cardboard together with it.
This is the final look.
