Hace tiempo mi mamá me hacía dejado un cintillo para que se lo adornara con algo, como ella sabe que me gusta hacer manualidades ,lacitos y esas cosas pensó que podría hacerle algo a su cintillo para que no se viera tan simple, solo era el cintillo sin ningún tipo de apliques ni nada. En una de sus visitas a casa me lo dejo y yo había olvidado hacerle ese favor, mi hija lo tomaba para jugar y hasta se me perdía aquí mismo.

Some time ago my mom had left me a headband for me to decorate it with something, as she knows that I like to do crafts, bows and things like that she thought I could do something to her headband so it would not look so simple, it was just the headband without any kind of appliques or anything. In one of her visits home she left it to me and I had forgotten to do her that favor, my daughter took it to play and even got lost right here.

Entonces hace unos dia estaba ayudando a mi esposo con un corte de un pantalón de tela jeans, recordé la tarea inconclusa del cintillo por lo que decidí usar esa tela o un retazo de ella para forrarlo y hacerle algún diseño que ella lo pudiera usar, me pidió que fuera sencillo, así que pensé en hacer el cintillo con un detalle en tela de jeans 👖😁. Soy de las que me gusta reciclar, reusar cosas aquí en mi hogar, pienso que siempre podemos hacer algún adorno o algo práctico para usarlo nuevamente en una nueva forma.

Then a few days ago I was helping my husband with a cut of a jeans pants, I remembered the unfinished task of the headband so I decided to use that fabric or a piece of it to line it and make some design that she could use it, she asked me to keep it simple, so I thought of making the headband with a detail in jeans fabric 👖😁. I'm one of those who like to recycle, reuser things here in my home, I think we can always make some ornament or something practical to use it again in a new way.

Busqué los materiales para empezar hacerlo.
•Retazo de tela.
•Tijera.
•Silicón en barra.
•Pistola de silicón o para el que no la tiene una vela, yesquero o fósforos.

Find the materials to get started.
•Piece of fabric.
•Scissors.
•Silicone stick.
•Silicone gun or for the one who doesn't have it a candle and tinder or matches.

✓Tomé uno de los retazos más gruesos de 4 cm y 40 cm de largo. Empecé a colocar silicón caliente y pegarlo de unos de los extremos del cintillo de plástico, solo por toda la parte externa, una vez pegado completamente seguí con uno de los lados, realicé el mismo procedimiento aplicándole silicón caliente e ir pegando poco a poco de un extremo a otro. Luego realicé lo mismo con el otro lado hacia la parte interna del cintillo, así terminaría mi proceso de forrar para continuar con los detalles.

✓I took one of the thicker scraps of 4 cm and 40 cm long. I started to apply hot silicone and glue it to one of the ends of the plastic headband, only on the outside, once it was completely glued I continued with one of the sides, I did the same procedure applying hot silicone and gluing little by little from one end to the other. Then I did the same with the other side towards the inner part of the headband, this way I would finish my lining process to continue with the details.

✓Pensé en hacer un aplique en forma de lazo con la misma tela, así que tomé un rectángulo de unos 5 x 8 Cm , le apliqué un poquito de silicón en la parte de medio y arruché para dar la forma del lazo, luego le coloque un pedacito de tela en el centro. Cabe resaltar que en en los bordes del rectángulo para hacer el lazo y el centro del mismo, le saque algunos hilos de la tela para que diera ese aspecto diferente cómo cuando se va los hilos de la tela,en la tela de jeans esa técnica se hace ver el hilo blanco y se ve bonito, parece desgastado, le da un toque diferente no se ve tan simple.

✓I thought about making a bow applique with the same fabric, so I took a rectangle of about 5x8 Cm , I applied a little bit of silicone in the middle part and crumpled it to give the shape of the bow, then I placed a little piece of fabric in the center. It should be noted that at the edges of the rectangle to make the loop and the center of it, I took out some threads of the fabric to give that different look like when you leave the threads of the fabric, in the jeans fabric that technique makes the white thread look nice, it looks worn, it gives a different touch does not look so s imple.

✓ A último momento pensé en algo de brillo y conseguí una cinta azul con bordes dorados, se la coloque a todo el cintillo , fuí enrollando y dejando grandes espacios, pegue con silicón caliente las puntas a cada extremo. Para hacerse más fácil este paso, se pega un extremo primero, se va cubriendo el cintillo y luego se pega el otro extremo.

✓At the last moment I thought of some glitter and got a blue ribbon with golden edges, I put it all over the headband, I rolled it up and left big spaces, I glued with hot silicone the ends at each end. To make this step easier, glue one end first, cover the headband and then glue the other end.

✓ Para nuestro paso final, tomé un poco de silicón caliente le agregué al cintillo en una zona donde creía conveniente que se viera mejor y pegue el lazo, el cual también fijé con un poco de cinta azul con dorado (6 cm) en la parte del centro.

✓For our final step, I took some hot silicone and added it to the headband in an area where I thought it would look better and glued the bow, which I also fixed with some blue and gold ribbon (6 cm) in the center.

Teniendo listo el cintillo con tela de jeans se lo probé a mi modelo número uno, mi pequeña hija 🤗 y le gustó jajaja, pero es para su abuela, así que me toca hacerle uno nuevo para ella. Un modelo sencillo y bonito, que lo podemos hacer con telas en retazos que tengamos a nuestro gusto y usando lo que queramos , este cintillo combina con todo, es lo bueno 😁 .

Having ready the headband with jeans fabric I tried it on my number one model, my little daughter 🤗 and she liked it hahaha, but it's for her grandmother, so I have to make a new one for her. A simple and beautiful model, that we can make with fabrics in scraps that we have to our liking and using whatever we want, this headband combines with everything, that's the good thing.
