As for me, I did some exercise and in the evening I decided to paint a drawing I had done several days ago.
In this post I show you the step by step of how I painted this cute girl with school watercolors.
Let's start!

Step 1🖌️
The first thing I did was to wet the face and neck with water and then apply the color of her skin that I created with red and yellow ochre paint. Taking advantage of the fact that it was still wet, I applied the shadows with the same colors as before but with a shade of red to darken. I also applied the blush with red.
I placed the shadows under the hat, under the chin, on the nose and on the eyelids. The blush obviously on the cheeks 😁 I also outlined the lips a bit.
I know it looks weird but when it dries it will look much better 😁
Step 2🖌️
After drying, I painted the hat with a diluted coat of purple and the lips with a mixture of brown with yellow ochre.
When the hat part was dry, I painted the lapel with a darker shade of purple. The iris of the eyes I painted with lilac and the pupil with purple darkened with a little black, taking care not to paint the glitter I did.
Step 3🖌️
I highlighted a little more the shadows on the bones of the face located on the nose and eyebrows, as well as on the ear that protrudes from the hair.
I dampened the hair with water before applying a first coat of pink, and with that same color I painted her eyebrows. I also painted a new layer of purple on the hat.
Afterwards, I outlined in brown with a very thin brush the eyes, eyelids, nose, lips and ear.
Step 4🖌️
I painted the shirt with yellow ochre, after wetting the area with water. This technique is called "wet on wet" and consists of wetting the leaf before painting with watercolor so that the color spreads more evenly. This technique is also very good for making gradients.
Then with a brush of intermediate thickness I made some lines on the hat to delimit the flap, as well as some small wrinkles.
The eyebrow hairs were highlighted with a very thin brush using the same pink but this time mixed with a little red to darken.
Step 5🖌️
With the same mixture I did for the eyebrows, I painted the thicker strands of the hair to start giving it definition, and with a super thin brush, I made more strokes in the hair to outline the thinner strands darkening more ends and the parts close to the face.
I painted the flannel with a second coat of yellow ochre and while it was drying, I also painted a new coat of purple on the hat.
When the flannel was dry I did the collar with brown and a thin brush. With the same brush and color I made wrinkles on the left sleeve of the flannel.
When the hat was completely dry I outlined it with purple darkened with black and in the middle I made a decorative stripe.
To finish I applied a second layer of blush on the cheeks, and with white cold paint, I made small glitters to give it more life on the right eyebrow bone, on the tip of the nose, on the cupid's bow, on the lips, and on some strands of hair.
On the iris of the eyes I also made thin lines to make them look more eye-catching.
And this is how I finished my drawing.

Espero que estén muy bien, que hayan tenido un fin de semana reparador, y logrado planificar su semana ☺️
Por mi parte, hice un poco de ejercicio y en la noche decidí pintar un dibujo que había hecho hace varios días.
En este post les muestro el paso a paso de cómo pinté a esta linda chica con acuarelas escolares.
¡Empecemos!
🖌️🎨PASO A PASO 🖌️🎨
Paso 1🖌️
Lo primero que hice fue humedecer con agua el rostro y cuello, para luego aplicar el color de su piel que creé con pintura roja y amarillo ocre. Aprovechando que aún estaba húmedo apliqué las sombras con los mismos colores anteriores solo que con un tono más de rojo para oscurecer. También apliqué el rubor con color rojo.
Las sombras las ubiqué debajo del sombrero, debajo de la barbilla, en la nariz y en los párpados. El rubor evidentemente en las mejillas 😁 también delineé un poco los labios.
Sé que se ve extraño pero cuando se seque se verá mucho mejor 😁
Paso 2🖌️
Luego de secarse, pinté el sombrero con una capa diluida de púrpura y los labios con una mezcla de marrón con amarillo ocre.
Cuando la parte del sombrero ya estaba seca, pinté la solapa con un tono más oscuro de púrpura. El iris de los ojos los pinté con lila y la pupila con púrpura oscurecido con un poco de negro, cuidando de no pintar los brillos que le hice.
Paso 3🖌️
Remarqué un poco más las sombras de los huesos del rostro ubicados en la nariz y las cejas, así como en la oreja que sobresale del cabello.
El cabello lo humedecí con agua antes de aplicarle una primera capa de rosado, y con ese mismo color pinté sus cejas. Y además, pinté una nueva capa de púrpura en el sombrero.
Posteriormente, delinee en marrón con un pincel muy delgado los ojos, los párpados, la nariz, los labios y la oreja.
Paso 4🖌️
La camisa la pinté con amarillo ocre, luego de humedecer el área con agua. Esta técnica se llama "húmedo sobre húmedo" y consiste en humedecer la hoja antes de pintar con acuarela para que se expanda el color de manera más uniforme. Esta técnica también es muy buena para hacer degradados.
Luego con un pincel de grosor intermedio le hice algunas líneas en el sombrero para delimitar la solapa, así como unas pequeñas arrugas.
Los pelitos de las cejas los remarque con un pincel muy delgado usando el mismo rosado pero esta vez mezclado con un poco de rojo para oscurecer.
Paso 5🖌️
Con la misma mezcla que hice para las cejas, pinté los mechones más gruesos del cabello para empezar a darle definición, y con un pincel súper delgado, hice más trazos en el cabello para delinear los mechones más delgados oscureciendo más puntas y las partes cercanas al rostro.
Pinté la franela con una segunda capa de amarillo ocre y mientras se secaba, también pinté una nueva capa de purpura en el sombrero.
Cuando la franela estuvo seca le hice el cuello con marrón y un pincel delgado. Con ese mismo pincel y color le hice arrugas en la manga izquierda de la franela.
Cuando el sombrero estuvo totalmente seco lo delineé con púrpura oscurecido con negro y en el medio le hice una franja de decoración.
Para finalizar le apliqué una segunda capa de rubor en la mejillas, y con pintura al frío blanca, le hice pequeños brillos para darle más vida en el hueso de la ceja derecha, en la punta de la nariz, en el arco de cupido, en los labios,y en algunos mechones de cabello.
En el iris de los ojos también hice delgadas líneas para que se vieran más vistosos.
Y de esta manera culminé mi dibujo.
