January is over, and for the first time ever, I feel like it went by so fast. I didn't have time to make my monthly planner, but hey, it's never too late, and even though I didn't do it the way I wanted to—because I was supposed to do it digitally this year—I had to improvise with what I had, for reasons beyond my control.
But even so, I managed to bind it the way I wanted, with cardboard, my cover image, which I did manage to print, ha ha ha, and everything else. I also took the opportunity to print the stickers I had made. They turned out really cute, and I wanted to put them in my planner.
Materials:
- Medium-sized cardboard boxes
- White glue
- Magazine clippings
- Scissors
- Pencil
- White sheets of paper (recycled)
- Transparent adhesive paper
I'll give you a little rundown of how I did it, since I couldn't capture the whole step-by-step process. Well, with two medium-sized pieces of cardboard and tape, I glued the base for the planner, then covered the cardboard with magazine clippings.
Then I stuck the stickers on the back and, of course, the cover. To make it look good, I remembered I had some transparent paper, so I finished covering it with that, leaving a clear outline, so there's no risk of the paper tearing or getting damaged.

I liked how it turned out, with a good base, its cover and back cover, simple, made by me, using only cardboard, cutouts from old magazines, with a little creativity.
Now all I had to do was glue the pages in, but here I made a mistake because I didn't calculate the space for gluing the pages correctly. I mean, I made it too thick, which meant a lot of pages, which I didn't have, at least not white ones, not even the ones I had scanned.
I started to improvise, looking for recyclable sheets of paper, and I put them together, gluing them with white glue, pressing down so that they would stick well, and then I just had to stick them to the base of the cover. I didn't think it would turn out well, but it did, haha.
I like my personalized planner with my own touch. I would have liked to have made it with designed sheets so I wouldn't have to draw, mark the lines, and all that, because, well, it's nice to do it yourself, but it takes time. Oh well, this year, I'll have to do it again manually. I haven't started yet, but little by little, I'll fill it in.
What do you think of this idea? Are you up for giving it a try? It's easy and practical. All you need is some sturdy cardboard (I used a box), thick tape, and white glue. You can decorate it however you like, and to keep it closed, I attached a ribbon—a practical idea to keep our planner securely closed.

Termino el mes de enero, primera vez que siento que pasa tan rápido, no medio tiempo de hacer mi planer del mes, pero bueno, nunca es tarde, y aunque no lo hice como quería, porque se suponía que este año lo haría digital, las hojas, por causas ajenas a mí, tuve que improvisar con lo que tenía.
Pero aun así, logre hacer el encuadernado como quería, con cartón, mi imagen de portada, esa si logre imprimirla jajaja, y todo lo demás, aproveche también de imprimir los stickers que había realizado, me quedaron muy lindos y quise plasmarlos en mi agenda.
Materiales:
- Cartones medianos ( de caja)
- 1 pega blanca
- Recortes de revistas
- Tijera
- Lápiz
- Hojas blancas (recicladas)
- Papel adhesivo transparente
Les echaré un poco el cuento de como lo hice, ya que no pude capturar del todo el paso a paso; pues bien, con dos cartones medianos, y tirro, pegue la base para la agenda, luego con recortes de revistas forre dicho cartón.
Luego le pegue los stickers, en la parte trasera, y por supuesto la portada, para que quedara bien, me acordé de que tenía papel transparente, y lo termine de forrar con ello, quedando bien marcado, así no corro el riesgo de que se rompa el papel o se dañe.

Me gusto como quedo, con una buena base, su portada y contraportada, sencillo, hecho por mí, usando solo cartón, recorte de revistas viejas, con un poco de creatividad.
Ahora solo me quedaba pegarle las hojas, sin embargo, aquí tuve un fallo, porque no calcule bien el espacio para pegar las hojas, quiero decir, lo hice muy grueso, lo que implicaba una gran cantidad de hojas, las cuales no tenía, por lo menos no blancas, ni siquiera las que había hecho digitalizadas.
Me puse a inventar, a buscar hojas reciclables, y fui armándolas, pegándolas, usando pega blanca, hice presión, para que quedara bien, y solo me quedo pegarlo en la base de la portada, no creí que quedara bien, pero sí quedo jeje.
Me gusto mi agenda, personalizada, con mi toque, me hubiera gustado haberlo hecho con las hojas diseñadas, así no tendría que ponerme a dibujar, marcar las líneas y todo eso, porque bien, es lindo hacerlo uno mismo, toma tiempo, pero ni modo, este año, me toca volver hacerlo así, de forma manual, aún no he comenzado, pero poco a poco, lo iré rellenando.
Que les pareció esta idea, se animan hacerlo, de esta forma, es fácil y práctico, solo necesitan un buen cartón, yo use el de caja, tirro grueso, y pega blanca, para la decoración, ya queda a su gusto; y para sujetarlo, le pegue una cinta, una idea práctica, para que nuestra agenda quede bien cerrada.
