Saludos querida comunidad, hace unos días atrás me hicieron un encargo muy especial y quise compartir con ustedes como lo hice, se trata de un colgante a crochet de los 7 chakras, debo decir que yo no sabía mucho del tema así que me puse a investigar antes de hacer el trabajo y me pareció muy interesante, pues cada chakra es representado por su propio color y símbolo, siendo cada un centro energético asociado al cuerpo que se distribuye de por la columna de las personas y puede influir en el bienestar físico y emocional, sus nombres son: Raíz (Muladhara), Sacro (Svadhisthana), Plexo Solar (Manipura), Corazón (Anahata), Garganta (Vishuddha), Tercer Ojo (Ajna), Corona (Sahasrara).

Greetings dear community, a few days ago I received a very special commission and I wanted to share with you how I made it. It's a crocheted pendant of the 7 chakras. I must say that I didn't know much about the subject, so I did some research before starting the project and I found it very interesting, since each chakra is represented by its own color and symbol, each being an energy center associated with the body that is distributed along the spine and can influence physical and emotional well-being. Their names are: Root (Muladhara), Sacral (Svadhisthana), Solar Plexus (Manipura), Heart (Anahata), Throat (Vishuddha), Third Eye (Ajna), Crown (Sahasrara).

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet: rojo claro y oscuro, naranja claro y oscuro, amarillo claro y oscuro, verde claro y oscuro, azul claro y oscuro, índigo claro y oscuro, violeta claro y oscuro, beige, blanco.
• Ganchillo de 1.25mm
• 6 cuentas de semilla de los colores principales y 13 canutillos de madera.
• Tijera
• Relleno de fibra acrílica antialérgica
• Aguja de ojal grande

• Acrylic crochet yarn: light and dark red, light and dark orange, light and dark yellow, light and dark green, light and dark blue, light and dark indigo, light and dark violet, beige, white.
• 1.25mm crochet hook
• 6 seed beads in the main colors and 13 wooden bugle beads.
• Scissors
• Hypoallergenic acrylic fiberfill
• Large eyelet needle

Proceso / Process

Como pueden haber leído en los materiales se necesita dos tonos de hilo un mismo color, es decir uno claro y uno oscuro, el claro se usará en la case del circulo mientras que el oscuro solo se usara el bode de la ultima hilera de cada circulo y se hacen dos círculos por color.
Hacer 8 puntos bajos en un anillo
Hilera 1: 8 aumentos. Total de puntadas (16)
Hilera 2: (1 punto bajo, 1 aumento) X 8. Total de puntadas (24)
Hilera 3: 24 puntos bajos
Hilera 4: (1 punto bajo, 1 aumento, 1 punto bajo) X 8. Total de puntadas (32)
Hilera 5: (3 puntos bajos, 1 aumento) X 8. Total de puntadas (40)
Hilera 6: 40 puntos bajos
Hilera 7: (2 puntos bajos, 1 aumento, 2 puntos bajos) X 8. Total de puntadas (48)
Hilera 8: (5 puntos bajos, 1 aumento) X 8. Total de puntadas (56)
Hilera 9 (3 puntos bajos, 1 aumento, 3 puntos bajos) X 8. Total de puntadas (64) (el borde con hilo tono más oscuro)
Hacer dos círculos iguales. Con el hilo blanco y la aguja de ojal grande bordar cada símbolo del chakra en su color correspondiente.

As you may have read in the materials, you will need two shades of yarn of the same color, one light and one dark. The light shade will be used for the base of the circle, while the dark shade will only be used for the edge of the last row of each circle. Make two circles per color.
Make 8 single crochet stitches in a ring.
Row 1: 8 increases. Total stitches (16)
Row 2: (1 single crochet, 1 increase) X 8. Total stitches (24)
Row 3: 24 single crochets
Row 4: (1 single crochet, 1 increase, 1 single crochet) X 8. Total stitches (32)
Row 5: (3 single crochets, 1 increase) X 8. Total stitches (40)
Row 6: 40 single crochets
Row 7: (2 single crochets, 1 increase, 2 single crochets) X 8. Total stitches (48)
Row 8: (5 single crochets, 1 increase) X 8. Total stitches (56)
Row 9 (3 single crochets, 1 increase, 3 single crochets) X 8. Total stitches (64) (the edge with darker yarn)
Make two identical circles. With the white thread and the large-eye needle, embroider each chakra symbol in its corresponding color.

En la siguiente hilera trabajar con el hilo de tono más oscuro, tomando dos puntadas a la vez para lograr la unión de los círculos. Rellenar antes de terminar la hilera.
Hilera 10: (7 puntos bajos, 1 aumento) X 8. Total de puntadas (72)
Hilera 11: (1 punto deslizado, 1 cadena, saltar 1 punto, 1 punto alto, 1 cadena, 1 punto alto en el mismo lugar que el punto alto anterior, 1 cadena, saltar 1 punto, 1 punto deslizado, 2 cadenas, saltar 1 punto, 1 punto alto, 1 punto picot, 1 punto alto en el mismo lugar que el punto alto anterior, 2 cadenas, saltar 1 punto) X 9.
Hacer los 7 chakras de las mismas medidas.

In the next row, work with the darker yarn, picking up two stitches at a time to join the circles. Stuff before finishing the row.
Row 10: (7 single crochet, 1 increase) x 8. Total stitches (72)
Row 11: (1 slip stitch, 1 chain, skip 1 stitch, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 1 double crochet in the same stitch as the previous double crochet, 1 chain, skip 1 stitch, 1 slip stitch, 2 chains, skip 1 stitch, 1 double crochet, 1 picot, 1 double crochet in the same stitch as the previous double crochet, 2 chains, skip 1 stitch) x 9. Make all 7 chakras the same size.

Con el hilo beige hacer 30 cadenas y cerrar en círculo, hacer 30 puntos medio altos sobre las cadenas, tomar una hebra larga y atravesar cada uno de los chackras y en el espacio entre estos introducir un canutillo de madera, una cuenta del color correspondiente y otro canutillo de madera para lograr la separación, al final de todos los chakras colocar un canutillo de madera y coser una borla del mismo hilo.

With the beige thread make 30 chains and close in a circle, make 30 half double crochet stitches over the chains, take a long strand and pass through each of the chakras and in the space between them insert a wooden bead, a bead of the corresponding color and another wooden bead to achieve the separation, at the end of all the chakras place a wooden bead and sew a tassel of the same thread.
