Les quiero compartir el como pude arreglar y alargar un poco mas la vida a la puerta de mi nevera, ya que, como observarán a continuación, se daño debido al agua que se filtro por la puerta, y comenzó a oxidarse un poco.
Así que, decidí arreglarlo un poco, con herramientas bastantes fáciles de hallar, y que es casi imposible no tener en casa.

I want to share with you how I was able to fix and extend a little more the life of my refrigerator door, since, as you will see below, it was damaged due to the water that filtered through the door, and it started to rust a little bit.
So, I decided to fix it a little bit, with tools that are quite easy to find, and that are almost impossible not to have at home.
Antes que nada, la primera recomendación con esto, es que tengan mucho cuidado a la hora de hacerle mantenimiento a estas, y con esto me refiero a la hora de limpiar.
Muchas veces, pasamos un paño húmedo a las puertas para quitarles el sucio, pero no las secamos bien, y la húmeda se aloja en la parte final de la misma, y básicamente, creamos nosotros mismo el oxido que daña a estas, como verán en la imagen, así se hallaba la pobre puerta.
First of all, the first recommendation with this is to be very careful when it comes to maintenance, and by this I mean when it comes to cleaning.
Many times, we pass a damp cloth to the doors to remove the dirt, but we do not dry them well, and the damp gets lodged in the final part of the same, and basically, we create ourselves the rust that damages these, as you will see in the image, this is how the poor door was.

Cómo les mencioné, en cualquier parte pueden hallar un tijera, y pueden comprar un pega loka, que cuesta menos de 2bs o 0.12$ Aproximadamente.
Y como observan, eso es un tubo de crema dental. ¡Si! Un tubo de crema dental.
Les comento un poco, el papel aluminio con que se fabrican estos, tienen un sin fin de uso, hasta como cintas de embalaje, conductor de electricidad y así por estilo.
En este caso, lo utilicé con el fin de aislante, y debido a la dureza, puede durar y proteger durante cierto tiempo lo que vayamos a reparar.

No olvidemos limpiar bien, y allí verán el aluminio junto con el papel, que cuando lo usan para este tipo de materiales, sirve para almacenar y cuidar todo lo que este dentro de sí, en este caso, la crema dental que pasa mucho tiempo en los almacenes.

Para la zona afectada, usaremos estas herramientas:
- Una espátula
- Un lija de su preferencia, y según vean el daño, en mi caso no eran mucho, por eso elegí una de 360.
For the affected area, we will use these tools:
- A spatula
- A sandpaper of your preference, and as you see the damage, in my case they were not much, so I chose a 360.
¿Por qué es importante limpiar la zona antes de colocar el papel de aluminio?
Pues de lo contrario, la infección del óxido se mantendría por debajo del mismo, y el daño seguiría aumentando de todas formas.
Es por eso que, con la espátula, quitamos los pequeños pedazos que ya se a erosionado, y posteriormente con la lija, quitamos de manera más profunda el óxido.
Why is it important to clean the area before applying the aluminum foil?
Because otherwise, the rust infection would remain underneath the foil, and the damage would continue to increase anyway.
That is why, with the spatula, we remove the small pieces that have already eroded, and then with the sandpaper, we remove the rust more deeply.
Luego de haber quitado todo, y limpiado a su vez, medimos el papel de aluminio para cortarlo de forma uniforme, y así quede estético y bonito.
Use un escalímetro para medir, no obstante, es mejor la regla para marcar.
After everything has been removed and cleaned, we measure the aluminum foil to cut it evenly, so that it will look nice and aesthetically pleasing.
Use a scalimeter to measure, however, it is better to use a ruler to mark.
Una vez hecho el corte, es cuando comenzamos a usar la pega para unir a la parte afectada.
Once the cut is made, we start using the glue to join the affected part.
La pega la podemos regar por toda la hoja ya cortada, pueden usar el lado de su preferencia, ambas son de aluminio, y como verán en la fotografía, lo agregamos en casi toda, eso sí, con cuidado para que no nos caiga en las manos la pega.
The glue can be sprinkled all over the already cut sheet, you can use the side of your preference, both are made of aluminum, and as you will see in the picture, we add it almost everywhere, but be careful not to get the glue on our hands.
Una vez hecho eso, rápidamente la colocamos en la zona que vamos a reparar, y digo rápidamente ya que, la pega se seca bastante rápido.
Once that is done, we quickly place it on the area we are going to repair, and I say quickly because the glue dries quite fast.
Una vez colocada, puede ser que no nos quede tan perfecta, y eso es normal, lo que vamos a hacer entonces, es corregir, o con la espátula, o con la tijera, esto para eliminar el sobrante y entonces quede un poco mas bonito el trabajo.
Once placed, it may be that it is not so perfect, and that is normal, what we will do then, is to correct, or with the spatula, or with the scissors, this to remove the excess and then the work is a little more beautiful.
¿Qué les parece? La verdad es que quedó más bonito de lo que me imaginé, así puede durar un poco más, o a menos que queramos ir a un latonero y haga un mejor trabajo, pero también nos cobre más jeje
