Lately not as much as before. Still, they can be seen running around from time to time. Thanks to one of the traps I already published in a previous post and to my 3 cats this problem has been reduced little by little, but I didn't want to leave without showing you this fabulous idea. For those who have not seen my previous post. Yes, there are mice in my house, because we have a neighbor who opened a business and they come from nearby areas in search of food that is stored there. We have been dealing with this problem since it started and today we notice that thanks to our 3 cats and the traps that from time to time catch some of them, their population growth has slowed down a bi.
Hola amigos de Hive, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día. Hoy les he venido a compartir este nuevo invento que hice. Desde hace tiempo hemos estado teniendo problemas con roedores. Últimamente no tanto como antes. Aun así, se les puede ver por ahí corriendo alguna que otra vez. Gracias a una de las trampas que ya publiqué en un anterior post y a mis 3 gatos este problema se ha reducido poco a poco, pero no me quería quedar con las ganas de mostrarles esta fabulosa idea. Para quienes no hayan visto mi anterior post. Sí, hay ratones en mi casa, debido a que tenemos un vecino que abrió un negocio y que estos se vienen de las zonas cercanas en busca de alimentos que ahí se almacenan. Nosotros le hemos hecho frente a este problema desde que comenzó como hemos podido y hoy en día notamos que gracias a nuestros 3 gatos y las trampas que de vez en cuando capturan alguno su crecimiento poblacional se ha mermado un poco.

We cut 3 faces of the wood we have, of the same dimensions (mine measures each face 13cm x 13cm and each face with a thickness of 1cm) we join them in this way to make a kind of uncovered box and then we cut a piece of the brush stick to make a base which we will fix to the base face (In the corner farthest from the walls). Then we will measure the center of the plastic bottle and make a hole in that place that goes through the bottle on both sides. It has to be when it is balanced just covering the mouth of the bottle with the front wall.

Luego mediremos el centro de la botella de plástico y haremos un agujero en ese lugar que traspase la botella en ambos lados. Tiene que quedarnos cuando esté equilibrada justamente tapando la boca de la botella con la pared frontal.

The weight of the rodents is enough to lower the mouth of the bottle when they try to escape, which will trap them. Every time they try to get out, the mouth of the bottle will lower and the wall will make it difficult for them to escape. Let's do the tests with our improvised mouse.
El truco consiste en dejar el cebo en el fondo de la botella y destapar la boca de la misma para que los roedores vengan a por él cuando lo huelan.
