Hola mi gente linda de hive, hoy me encuentro por acá con un nuevo proyecto de costura que realice el día de hoy, estoy muy emocionada porque aunque aun me falta perfeccionar muchísimo las técnicas, siento que he avanzando un montón y que cada vez disfruto más todo lo que conlleva coser, descubriendo un poco más mi máquina de coser y así poderles traer mis creaciones. Está vez quise transformar una camisa que tenía en casa y que hace rato no usaba debido a que me quedaba muy grande y su diseño me parecia bastante simple, sin embargo tenía otra camisa que no usaba tampoco debido a unas manchas que tenia, pero ese diseño me encanta, así que decidí plasmarlo en la otra camisa y así creaba una nueva prenda para mí clóset, espero le guste, ¡Vamos con los materiales y el paso a paso!
Hello my lovely people of hive, today I'm here with a new sewing project that I completed today. I'm very excited because although I still need to perfect my techniques a lot, I feel like I've made a lot of progress and that I'm enjoying sewing more and more. I'm learning a little more about my sewing machine so I can bring you my creations. This time, I wanted to transform a shirt I had at home that I hadn't worn in a while because it was too big for me and its design seemed pretty simple. However, I had another shirt that I hadn't worn either because of some stains, but I love that design, so I decided to apply it to the other shirt and thus create a new piece for my closet. Paso 1️⃣ / Step 1️⃣ 🤍✨
Lo primero que haremos será doblar la camisa que ya tenemos lista a la mitad para sacar el patrón delantero, en la camisa que vamos a transformar que ya la vamos a tener previamente doblada también, marcamos el patrón delantero, aseguramos con alfileres y cortamos, hacemos lo mismo con el patrón trasero y vamos a aprovechar las mangas que ya tienen el dobladillo y solo las vamos a recortar de modo que nos queden del tamaño que las necesitamos, pero sin perder el dobladillo, teniendo todo ya cortado vamos a unir ambas partes.
The first thing we'll do is fold the shirt we already have ready in half to get the front pattern. On the shirt we're going to transform, which we'll have pre-folded as well, we'll mark the front pattern, secure it with pins, and cut. We'll do the same with the back pattern. We'll use the sleeves that already have the hem and simply trim them so they fit the size we need, but without losing the hem. With everything already cut, we'll join both parts.
Paso 2️⃣ / Step 2️⃣ 🤍✨
Ahora el siguiente paso será hacerle el borde al cuello de nuestra camisa, tomaremos la tira del cuello de la camisa que estamos transformando, quitamos la costura y la unimos a nuestro nuevo diseño, ahora vamos a tomar las mangas de la camisa y las vamos a ubicar a las demás piezas, aseguramos bien y procedemos a hacer el dobladillo de la parte de abajo de la camisa, cortamos el hilo, ultimamos detalles y así es como queda nuestra nueva prenda.
Now the next step is to hem our shirt collar. We'll take the collar strip from the shirt we're transforming, remove the seam, and attach it to our new design. Now we'll take the shirt sleeves and place them on the other pieces. Secure them well and proceed to hem the bottom of the shirt. Cut the thread, finish the details, and that's how our new garment looks.
