Tutorial to make a nice turban (ENG/ESP)

Today I share with you a tutorial to make a nice turban, I hope you like it.

Hoy les comparto un tutorial para hacer un lindo turbante, espero que les guste.

• Measuring tape

• Sewing machine
• Work table

Materiales:

• Tela flexible
• Hilos
• Tijera
• Cinta para medir
• Alfileres
• Aguja
• Máquina de coser
• Tabla de trabajo

Let's start by using a measuring tape, a pencil and a scissors to measure the height and width of the fabric we will need to make the turban.

Measurements: height 55 cm, width 30 cm, divided by 2.

Vamos a empezar utilizando una cinta para medir, un lápiz y una tijera, mediremos el alto y ancho de la tela que vamos a necesitar para hacer el turbante.

Medidas: alto 55 cm, ancho 30 cm, dividido entre 2.

After we have the marked lines we will cut and we will get a rectangle, this rectangle will be folded horizontally in half, we will place pins to make it firm, then we will cut again in half horizontally, leaving 2 identical pieces.

Después que tengamos las líneas marcadas vamos a cortar y nos resultara un rectángulo, este rectángulo lo vamos a doblar en forma horizontal, por la mitad, colocaremos alfileres para que este firme, luego cortaremos nuevamente por la mitad horizontal, quedando 2 piezas idénticas.

We will take one of the pieces that we cut, we will place it on a work table, to draw a nice design of a vine with flowers, if you prefer, but if you prefer you can make it simple without the embroidery, it is a matter of what you like.

Tomaremos una pieza de las que cortamos, la vamos a colocar sobre una tabla de trabajo, para dibujar un bonito diseño de una enredadera con flores, si así lo prefieren, pero si lo prefieren lo pueden hacer sencillo sin el bordado, es cuestión de lo que les guste.

The stitches I used for embroidery are basic stitches, such as branch stitch and daisy stitch.

Los puntos que utilice para bordar son básicos, como punto de rama, y punto margarita.

After we have already finished the embroidery, we are going to place the 2 pieces of the turban by the rights, we fix with pins so that the fabrics do not move when sewing, then we pass to the sewing machine, with a straight seam of 1 cm on each side, stretching the fabric a little, to prevent the seam from breaking.

Next, turn the 2 pieces over, fold them in half, and with the tape we will measure 7 cm in half straight, mark with the pencil, and cut.

Después que ya hayamos terminado el bordado, vamos a colocar las 2 piezas del turbante por los derechos, fijamos con alfileres para que no se muevan las telas al coser, luego pasamos a la máquina de coser, con una costura recta de 1 cm por cada lado, estirando un poco la tela, para evitar que la costura se rompa.

Después lo que sigue es, voltear las 2 piezas, doblar por la mitad, y con la cinta vamos a medir 7 cm en semirrecta, marcamos con el lápiz, y cortamos.

The next thing to do is to join the ends we cut to give it that twisted shape that characterizes this turban.

We face the ends in the shape of a collar, then we will bring the left end over the right end, then we will fix it with thread so that these 2 ends do not move, then we will bring the right end, over the left end, we will sew again a 1/2 cm, then we will place the left end, over the ends that are already fixed with sewing, we will also sew a coarse seam or we will place a pin on it.

With these 4 points together we are going to sew in the machine or by hand, with double stitching, flip and ready, we can see how beautiful this turban is, both for its design and for the embroidery decorations on the front, and the nape of the neck.

This is a hair accessory that looks comfortable, takes care of your hair, and is a fresh and elegant style for all occasions.

Lo siguiente es unir las puntas que cortamos para darle esa forma torcida que caracteriza a este turbante.

Enfrentamos las puntas como en forma de cuello, después vamos a llevar la punta izquierda por encima de la punta derecha, luego vamos a fijarla con hilo para que no se muevan estas 2 puntas, después vamos a llevar la punta derecha, sobre la punta izquierda, volvemos a pasar costura de vasta para fijar, a 1/2 cm, luego vamos a colocar la punta izquierda, sobre las puntas que ya están fijadas con costura, también le pasamos costura de basta o le colocaremos un alfiler.

Con estas 4 puntas unidas vamos a coser en la máquina o a mano, con doble costura, volteamos y listo, podemos ver lo hermoso que queda este turbante, tanto por su diseño como por las decoraciones de bordados, en la parte frontal, y de la nuca.

Este es un accesorio para el cabello que luce cómodo, cuida tu cabello, además es un estilo fresco y elegante, para toda ocasión.
