Técnicas de pelaje en gatos (carboncillo, lápiz de grafito) / Cat fur techniques (charcoal, graphite pencil) (ESP/ENG)

Después de tener toda la estructura del dibujo realizada, se borran todos los cuadrados que usamos anteriormente para poder realizar este dibujo.

Una vez hecho, se puede comenzar con cualquier parte del dibujo, en mi caso, quise hacer los ojos porque es lo que me ayuda a detectar la profundidad, sombreado, e iluminación cuando esté trabajando con el cuerpo según mi estilo de dibujo.

Los ojos fueron trabajados con suma delicadeza, primero usé el lápiz 2B para aplicar la primera capa de grafito, después lo difuminé con la ayuda de una difuminadora número 1, seguidamente le volví a aplicar una capa más de grafito, pero esta vez con la ayuda del lápiz 6B, respetando siempre las iluminaciones del ojo y lo volemos a difuminar.

Si en algún momento porque suele suceder que en el instante que estás difuminando nos salimos del área de valorizado, tenemos de nuestro lado un borrador moldeable, lo amoldamos a la forma que necesitamos y comenzamos a limpiar esas áreas donde nos hayamos salido del área de valorizado.

El borrador moldeable es como una plastilina que lo podemos amoldar a la forma que queramos, solo que esta no es toxina, no mancha ni mucho menos se gasta.

Once done, you can start with any part of the drawing, in my case, I wanted to do the eyes because it is what helps me to detect the depth, shading, and lighting when I am working with the body according to my style of drawing.


The eyes were worked with extreme delicacy, first I used the pencil 2B to apply the first layer of graphite, then I blurred it with the help of a blender number 1, then I applied again one more layer of graphite, but this time with the help of the pencil 6B, always respecting the illuminations of the eye and then I blurred it again.


If at some point, because it usually happens that at the moment you are blurring, we go out of the blending area, we have a moldable eraser on our side, we mold it to the shape we need and we start to clean those areas where we have gone out of the blending area.


The moldable eraser is like a plasticine that we can mold to the shape we want, only this is not a toxin, it does not stain and it does not wear out.

Como mencione anteriormente, trabajar con los ojos fue algo sumamente delicado, ya que para poder simular los ojos de un grato, estos tienen muchas líneas para hacerlo llamativo y que sea lo más parecido o mejor a nuestra imagen de referencia, cada vena del ojo, fue trabajado con trazos pequeños y constantes.

Una vez terminado de valorizar el ojo, acámense aplicar el pelaje, el mismo fue realizado de la siguiente manera sin difuminar. Trazos largos dependiendo de la dirección del pelaje según nuestra imagen de referencia, hay áreas donde tuve que hacer trazos pequeños y en las partes más oscuras, aplicaba más presión en el lápiz.

El lápiz que use para el pelaje de este gato fue el 2B.

As I mentioned before, working with the eyes was something extremely delicate, since in order to simulate the eyes of a cat, these have many lines to make it striking and to make it as similar or better to our reference image, each vein of the eye, was worked with small and constant strokes.


Once finished to enhance the eye, let's apply the fur, it was done in the following way without blurring. Long strokes depending on the direction of the fur according to our reference image, there are areas where I had to make small strokes and in the darker parts, I applied more pressure on the pencil.


The pencil I used for this cat's fur was 2B.

Seguimos avanzando con el resto del pelaje del gato, también valorice la nariz con el lápiz de grafito 6B, pero antes agregue 1 capa con el lápiz 2B, lo difumine y seguidamente use el 6B como una segunda capa, nuevamente volví a difuminar, limpiando el excedente luego de difuminar en los bordes de la nariz.

Después aplicando un poco más de presión al lápiz de grafito, volvi aplicar una segunda capa de pelajes mas oscuros, limpiando las areas de iluminacion.

We continued with the rest of the cat's fur, I also highlighted the nose with the 6B graphite pencil, but first I added 1 layer with the 2B pencil, blended it and then used the 6B as a second layer, again I blended again, cleaning the excess after blending on the edges of the nose.


Then applying a little more pressure to the graphite pencil, I applied a second coat of darker coats, cleaning up the highlight areas.

Una vez terminado todo el cuerpo y el pelaje de este hermoso gato, comencé a aplicar las profundidades y sombreados, en esta parte no use trazos, sino que valorice toda el área, después con la ayuda del borrador, aclarecí un poco algunas partes y luego de este agregue trazos largos, para que así se pueda apreciar el pelaje en el sombreado.

Para esto use la difuminadora 2 veces por 2 capas, para así rellenar toda la porosidad de la cartulina de la hoja del block de dibujo.

Once finished all the body and fur of this beautiful cat, I began to apply the depths and shading, in this part I did not use strokes, but I valued the whole area, then with the help of the eraser, I lightened a little some parts and after this I added long strokes, so that the fur can be appreciated in the shading.


For this I used the blender 2 times for 2 layers, in order to fill all the porosity of the cardboard of the drawing pad.
