Star in cold porcelain (esp/eng)

¡Hola queridos Hivers! Sigo con mis creaciones miniatura en porcelana fría y en esta ocasión deseo compartirles una pequeña estrellita que está realmente bonita, se ve súper tierna y muy de fantasía, es ideal para decorar accesorios de niñas porque irradia toda la ternura y delicadeza del mundo pero también está muy bonita para chicas grandes con estilo kawaii o que simplemente le gusten cositas diferentes y lindas. Hello dear Hivers! I'm continuing with my miniature cold porcelain creations, and this time I want to share with you a little star that is really pretty. It looks super cute and very whimsical, and is ideal for decorating girls' accessories because it radiates all the tenderness and delicacy in the world. But it's also very pretty for older girls with kawaii style or who simply like different and cute things. Join me in this tutorial and let's make a beautiful little star.

Materiales:

• Porcelana fría (Amarillo crema y rosado)
• Estecas
• Pinceles
• Pegamento blanco
• Pintura acrílica (blanca y marrón)
• Top coat
• Lámpara UV/LED

Procedimiento:

Iniciamos formando una pequeña bolita de porcelana fría color amarillo crema y procedemos a aplanarla un poco con nuestros dedos.

Materials:

• Cold porcelain (cream yellow and pink)
• Sticks
• Paintbrushes
• White glue
• Acrylic paint (white and brown)
• Top coat
• UV/LED lamp

Procedure:

Start by forming a small ball of cream yellow cold porcelain and flatten it slightly with your fingers.

Lo siguiente será tomar un cúter y con el mismo, cortar triángulos en los extremos para así ir dando la forma de estrella de cinco picos.

The next step is to take a craft knife and use it to cut triangles at the ends to create a five-pointed star shape.

Humedeciendo un poco la figura vamos suavizando los bordes de la estrella, primero con nuestros dedos y luego, de ser necesario, podemos ayudarnos también con un pincel delgado para que así se vea un acabado más prolijo.

By moistening the figure slightly, we soften the edges of the star, first with our fingers and then, if necessary, we can also use a thin brush to achieve a neater finish.

Ahora, con la esteca de bolita miniatura haremos presión sobre la figura formando dos hoyitos, estos corresponden al lugar donde estarán ubicados los ojitos de la estrella.

Now, using the miniature ball tool, press down on the figure to make two small holes. These will be where the star's eyes will be located.

Por supuesto, al ser una figura súper tierna, no podía faltar el rubor. Ya que es una figura de un color muy sutil, me pareció mejor hacer el rubor directamente con porcelana fría rosada para que destacara el contraste, además le va muy bien ese estillo de bolita característico de los personajes kawaii, así que para ello formamos dos pequeñas bolitas (de verdad en tamaño micro) y con un pincel sumamente delgado (previamente lo humedecemos con agua) terminamos de dar la forma deseada.

Of course, being such a cute figure, I couldn't leave out the blush. Since it's a very subtle color, I thought it would be best to apply the blush directly with pink cold porcelain to highlight the contrast. Plus, that little ball style characteristic of kawaii characters suits it very well, so we formed two small balls (really micro in size) and with an extremely thin brush (previously moistened with water) we finished shaping them as desired.

Como queremos que esta estrella tenga mucha personalidad, debemos agregar algún accesorio característico, yo he elegido una flor que irá en lo alto de su pico superior. Para hacer la flor, tomamos una bolita de rosado, la pinchamos en el centro con la esteca de cono estriado, y luego hacemos detalles en los bordes con la esteca curva y lista para adherirla con pegamento blanco en la estrellita.

Since we want this star to have lots of personality, we need to add a distinctive accessory. I have chosen a flower that will go at the top of its upper point. To make the flower, take a small pink ball, pierce it in the center with the fluted cone tool, then add details to the edges with the curved tool. Now it is ready to be attached to the star with white glue.

Dejamos secar completamente, unas 24 horas aproximadamente y procedemos a añadir los detalles finales con la pintura acrílica, yo estoy usando marrón para los ojitos y esas pestañas espectaculares, porque esta estrella es bonita, es tierna y es diva (risas), pero me refiero a que el marrón es un color lo suficientemente oscuro para dar estos rasgos pero no es tan duro como el color negro, con negro siento que se pierde parte de esa ternura propia de los colores pasteles, pero por supuesto ese es mi gusto solamente. Además también di puntos de luz con pintura acrílica blanca.

Let it dry completely, for about 24 hours, and then add the final details with acrylic paint. I'm using brown for the eyes and those spectacular eyelashes, because this star is beautiful, sweet, and a diva (laughs), but what I mean is that brown is dark enough to give these features but not as harsh as black. With black, I feel like some of that sweetness that comes with pastel colors is lost, but of course, that's just my taste. I also added highlights with white acrylic paint.

Al secar la pintura le damos una capa de top coat (en mi caso es mate) y curamos en lámpara el tiempo necesario y este es el resultado, miren que pequeñita y linda que es, cabe en la punta de mi dedo ¡amo! Y espero que ustedes también la amen.

Once the paint is dry, we apply a layer of top coat (in my case, it's matte) and cure it under the lamp for the necessary amount of time. And this is the result. Look how tiny and cute it is! It fits on the tip of my finger. I love it! And I hope you love it too.
