Ya he empezado a sacar las cajas de Navidad para revisar que tengo, esta vez me di cuenta de un montón de esferas que se les ha caído el "casquillo"; esa piececita de donde se agarran para colgarlas en el árbol. Esta vez, buscando ideas y mira que hay muchas, encontré ésta en Pinterest. Se trata de un arbolito de mesa, usando esas esferas dañadas. También le añadí piezas de unos lazos que formaron parte de decoraciones pasadas, unas mini piñas y hasta unos balines dorados que tenía guardados de una pulsera que no usé más.
Así, que con la intención de reutilizar, me animé a transformar estos materiales. ¡Y este fue el resultado de este arbolito¡

I've already started taking out the Christmas boxes to check what I have, and this time I noticed a bunch of baubles that have lost their “caps”—those little pieces that are used to hang them on the tree. This time, while looking for ideas (and there are so many!), I found this one on Pinterest. It's a tabletop tree made from those damaged baubles. I also added pieces of ribbons that were part of past decorations, some mini pinecones, and even some gold beads that I had saved from a bracelet I no longer wore.
So, with the intention of reusing them, I decided to transform these materials. And this was the result of this little tree!

Paso 1 / Step 1
Para armar la base, utilicé un rectángulo de anime de 34 cm. por 7 cm. En un principio pensé en hacerla con cartón, pero preferí el anime por la altura que le daría al arbolito. Una vez lista la forma, la pinté con unas capas de pintura color verde.
To make the base, I used a 34 cm by 7 cm rectangle of anime. At first, I thought about making it out of cardboard, but I preferred anime because of the height it would give the tree. Once the shape was ready, I painted it with a few coats of green paint.

Paso 2 / Step 2
Una vez que la base estuvo seca, comencé a fijar las esferas usando el silicón, haciendo una fila con las esferas de mayor tamaño, luego hice la otra fila con las esferas medianas, La intención es la de alternar los colores y continuar el proceso hasta terminar con las esferas más pequeñas. Todas las esferas las pegué colocando la punta hacia la parte de atrás.
Once the base was dry, I began to attach the spheres using silicone, making a row with the largest spheres, then I made another row with the medium-sized spheres. The intention was to alternate the colors, and I continued the process until you finish with the smallest spheres. I glued all the spheres with the tip facing the back.

Paso 3 / Step 3
Para darle un toque más festivo a las mini piñas, les pegué a cada una los balines con silicón en cada punta.
To give the mini pineapples a more festive touch, I glued the beads to each tip with silicone.

Paso 4 / Step 4
Es momento de pegar la guirnalda por todo el borde del anime, ésto oculta cualquier imperfección que puede tener el anime y se ve más prolijo el trabajo.
Pegué las mini piñas. Como tenía seis, distribuí dos en cada esquina y las dos restantes en el medio.
Now it's time to glue the garland around the edge of the anime. This hides any imperfections the anime may have and makes the work look neater.
I glued on the mini pinecones. Since I had six, I placed two in each corner and the remaining two in the middle.

Paso 5 / Step 5
Por último, de los adornos para reciclar, usé las campanas y los de forma de nota musical; procedí a pegarlos sobre la guirnalda y culminé poniendo el lazo rojo sobre la punta.
Finally, from the decorations to be recycled, I used the bells and the musical note-shaped ones; I proceeded to glue them onto the garland and finished by placing the red bow on the tip.
