¡Hola, amigos!
Hello, friends!
It is a pleasure to share with you and I take this moment to congratulate all those loving and brave beings for celebrating today March 8, International Women's Day. I also tell you that yesterday was my dear mother's 83rd birthday, whom I thank for all the lessons of life, for the love and time dedicated to our family. On the occasion of her birthday I knitted her a nice purse and here I will be sharing with you the tutorial to make it.
This purse is made in a combination of delicate beige and blue tones and I mainly used the bubble stitch because I think it gives it a romantic and tender air. This project works very well as a purse, cosmetic holder and/or to carry our cell phone.
Lindo Monedero a Crochet // Cute Crochet Coin Purse
- Hilo de tejer beige, azul, marrón, amarillo, blanco y rosado
- Ganchillos N° 2 y N° 1,3 mm
- 1 cierre marrón de 15 cm.
- Tela marrón (para el forro)
- Aguja de coser e hilo marrón
- Tijera
- Beige, blue, brown, brown, yellow, white and pink knitting yarns
- 1 crochet hook N° 2
- 1 brown zipper of 15 cm.
- Brown fabric (for the lining)
- Sewing needle and brown thread
- Scissors
I started by incorporating the zipper with the fabric: with a 1.3 mm crochet hook (this knitting needle has a very thin point and is ideal for piercing the zipper to be able to knit in it. There I knitted 21 single crochet stitches on one side of the zipper, then I knitted 3 chains in the air to move to the other side of the zipper which I also bordered with 21 single crochet stitches until I reached the other end to knit 3 chains in the air and close the round with slipped stitch.
Then I tied beige yarn and knit a round of single crochet, followed by a round of bubble stitch. The bubble stitches were nice and fluffy because I inserted 5 loops in each buttonhole.
Bubble stitch: We start the row with 3 double crochet stitches and in the 5th chain counting from the crochet hook we make a double crochet and there we have a hole, like a kind of buttonhole, we pick up yarn and passing through the buttonhole we pick up yarn again and pull out, we will do this 4 more times, Once we have the 5 loops in the crochet hook we take the yarn again and pull out the 5 loops at the same time, there we have our first bubble stitch, then we skip a single crochet stitch and take a loop to insert it in the second single crochet stitch and thus we obtain the 2nd buttonhole where we repeat the procedure to achieve the second bubble stitch.
We continue in this way until the end of the row.
Then I tied the blue yarn and knit 3 rows of single crochet interspersed with rows of bubble stitch. I closed the work (the bottom of the purse) with slipped stitches.
Then with a sewing needle and brown thread I folded the ends of the zipper and sewed them together by hand.
After making such a fabric, we must make the lining. To make the lining I grabbed a small piece of brown fabric (this should be 1cm. or 1.5 cm. wider than the fabric) and proceeded to fold the fabric, marked with pins to baste and then sew by hand with secure stitches and taking care that the thread does not show on the outer side of the work.
Para dar elegancia y resaltar la labor le coloqué 4 diminutas flores tejidas en alegres tonos que contrastan acertadamente con el tono azul y beige del monedero.
To give elegance and highlight the work I placed 4 tiny woven flowers in cheerful tones that contrast with the blue and beige of the purse.
¡Mira qué lindo quedó el Monedero! // Look how cute the coin purse turned out!
Well, dear friends, I hope you like my project and I encourage you to take crochet and yarn and let your creativity fly. I will love to read your comments and suggestions. I send you a hug of light and love.
