Cómo pasan el día ?, hoy les quiero comportar un post algo cortito ,pero conciso de un proyecto rapidito que me salió, tenía que hacer una decoración /adorno para el cabello, para una presentación de baile de joropo que mi hermanita iba a tener, un baile tradicional de Venezuela, y que usualmente llevan cabellos amarrados ,o en forma de "Cebollita" , adornados por flores grandes y tupidas, y dije perfecto ! Haré unas flores con tela para adornar el moño, pero resulta que era para el otro día ! Y no tenía materiales suficiente ni mucho tiempo para hacerla , así que ni modo ,me puse a revisar que tenía disponible para que quedara algo bonito pero rápido, y he aquí el resultado.

Community of artisans and craft lovers, how are you? How's your day going? Today I want to share a short but concise post about a quick project I came up with. I had to make a hair decoration/adornment for a joropo dance performance my little sister was going to have. Joropo is a traditional Venezuelan dance, and they usually wear their hair tied up or in a bun, adorned with large, bushy flowers. I thought, perfect! I'll make some fabric flowers to decorate the bun, but it turned out it was for the next day! And I didn't have enough materials or much time to make it, so oh well, I started looking through what I had available to make something pretty but quick, and here's the result.*

#1 Busqué entre los materiales y tenía está cinta para la cintura tricolor para adornar la falda que usaría mi hermana , como era larga corté unos veinte centímetros para armar el lazo con ella.

#1 I looked through the materials and found this tricolor waistband to decorate the skirt my sister would wear. Since it was long, I cut about twenty centimeters to make the bow.
#2 Llevé ambos extremos de la cinta hacia el centro para formar el lazo, aquí lo que hice fue tratar de que el lazo tuviera una forma de V boca abajo, para darle otro toque al lazo diferente, luego usé una aguja gruesa e hilo y le dí unas puntadas por el medio para asegurar el lazo, estreché el centro y le di una par de vueltas con el hilo para asegurar el centro del lazo y que quede más resistente.

#2 I brought both ends of the ribbon towards the center to form the bow. Here, I tried to make the bow an upside-down V shape to give it a different look. Then, using a thick needle and thread, I sewed a few stitches down the middle to secure the bow. I narrowed the center and wrapped the thread around it a couple of times to further secure the bow and make it stronger.
#3 Teniendo el lazo ya armadito, usé unos retazos de foami blanco escarchado, y recorte las estrellitas pequeñas para ponerselas y formar las bandera.

#4 también recorté una tira de foami rojo escarchado de un retazo que tenía, y le hice un nudo en el medio, esto le dará un toque bonito y más diseño al centro del lazo, lo ubiqué en el centro del lazo, y pegué los extremos con silicón caliente en la parte de atrás.

#4 I also cut a strip of glittery red foam from a scrap I had, and tied a knot in the middle. This will give a nice touch and more design to the center of the bow. I placed it in the center of the bow and glued the ends to the back with hot glue.
#5 Luego pegué con silicón caliente las estrellitas , para formar la bandera, y con silicón caliente en la parte de atrás del lazo pegué el ganchito para poder sostenerse en el cabello.

#6 Este sería el resultado, es un lazito sencillo pero quedó de buen tamaño , y es llamativo, también queda alusivo a la bandera y el diseño de que las "orejitas " del lazo caigan hacia abajo, me parece a mí , que hace que si lo usas en un moño se vea mas bonito y elegante, jejeje , me recordó a los lazos de la época emo XD, fue una buena rescatada para los pocos materiales que tenía , así que estoy muy a gusto con el resultado!🇻🇪.
