Feliz día a todos ! 💖💕 ,hoy les traigo un nuevo post de mi decoraciones para la cocina, pintando piezas de cerámicas para decorar este espacio y dándole un poco más de realismo para hacerlo mucho mas llamativos y únicos , hoy tenía esta pieza de ajo 🧄 y la verdad si fue un desafía para hacerlo porque pensaba en se vería raro solo medio blanco , pero despues de que me puse con ello , me encantó el resultado a pesar de no tener mucha idea como iba a lograr esa tonalidad y textura, aquí les dejo las fotos del proceso.

Hello fellow artisans and craft lovers! How are you spending Valentine's Day? Happy Valentine's Day to all! 💖💕 Today I'm bringing you a new post about my kitchen decorations, painting ceramic pieces to decorate this space and giving them a bit more realism to make them much more eye-catching and unique. Today I had this piece of garlic 🧄 and it was a challenge to paint because I thought it would look strange just half white, but after I started, I loved the result despite not having much of an idea how I was going to achieve that tone and texture. Here are the photos of the process.

#1 Trate de usar un fondo de pintura lila para hacer la piel del ajo como fondo, le dí dos manos para qué estuviera bien uniforme.

#1 Try using a lilac paint base for the garlic skin; I gave it two coats to make it nice and even.
#2 Para el fondo escogí amarillo ya que las otras piezas de cerámica las habia pintado con ese fondo, también le dí dos manos para que quedara uniforme , y le dí unas pinceladas con la pintura amarilla en el fondo morado que hizo un tono como ocre y servirá para dar volúmen.

#2 For the background, I chose yellow since I had painted the other ceramic pieces with that color. I also gave it two coats to make it uniform, and I added a few brushstrokes of yellow paint to the purple background, which created an ochre-like tone and will help to add volume.
#3 mezclé pintura verde con amarillo para dar un tono más claro y agregar más volumen en la parte más redonda del cuerpo del 🧄, de esta manera en el fondo quedaría también las pinceladas amarillas, las verdes claro, y luego agregué un poco de sombra con pintura verde en el tallo, y en el fondo del ajo para la sombra.Tambien agregué en todo el borde pintura naranja mezclando rojo y amarillo y fui mezclando con mas amarillos para que quedara más suave adentro y más naranja en el borde.

#3 I mixed green paint with yellow to give a lighter tone and add more volume to the roundest part of the garlic clove. This way, the yellow brushstrokes and the light green ones would also be visible in the background. Then I added some shading with green paint to the stem and the bottom of the garlic clove for shadow.I also added orange paint all around the edge by mixing red and yellow, and I kept mixing in more yellow to make it softer inside and more orange on the edge.
#4 Una vez que se secó las sombras verdes usé una pintura acrílica blanca con un pincel recto, y le dí una capa de pintura asegurándome de que las pinceladas fueran rectas y quedarán como vetas ? Líneas de pintura blancas para que se vea un poco de la mezcla de colores del fondo.Luego ante de que se secara mucho con pigmentos de morado metalizado ( este lo hice con maquillaje sombras moradas y pega blanca) agregué algunos toques para darle un poco de esa textura del ajo medio sedosa, y darle alguna sombras, aunque no se nota mucho 😅.Luego agregué otra capa de pintura blanca acrílica con pinceladas tratando de hacer la textura medio transparente.

#4 Once the green shadows were dry, I used white acrylic paint with a straight brush, applying a coat and making sure the brushstrokes were straight and created vein-like lines of white paint to show a bit of the background color mix. Then, before it dried completely, I added a few touches of metallic purple pigment (I made this with purple eyeshadow and white glue) to give it a slightly silky garlic texture and some shadows, although it's not very noticeable 😅. Finally, I added another layer of white acrylic paint with brushstrokes, trying to create a semi-transparent texture.
#Y este es el resultado final! La verdad es algo difícil darle la textura del ajo que es medio transparente y tiene esa mezclé entre blanquecino y morado como sedoso que es difícil de captar ,pero a mí parecer se ve bastante parecido y combina muy bien con la otra pieza de pera y cambures( bananas) que hice anteriormente.

#And this is the final result! It's actually quite difficult to achieve the texture of garlic, which is semi-transparent and has that silky, whitish-purple mix that's hard to capture. But in my opinion, it looks pretty close and goes very well with the other piece of pear and bananas I made previously.
