[Esp/Ing] Adorno navideño para decorar el apagador de luces - Christmas ornament to decorate the light switch

Saludos amigos y miembros de Hive DIY. Hace mucho que no comparto con ustedes, sin embargo no podía dejar de mostrarles mis manualidades motivadas por la época más linda e inspiradora para mí, "La Navidad".

Greetings friends and members of Hive DIY. I haven't shared with you in a long time, however I couldn't stop showing you my crafts motivated by the most beautiful and inspiring time for me, "Christmas".

The holiday breeze is definitely contagious and in that vein the crafts are showing up in the community feeds, and since I don't want to be absent like the student on the attendance list, I am going to share a step by step to make an ornament for the light switch that I place in my room welcoming Christmas in my resting place. It is quite an easy decoration to make and this time I did it by recycling some materials.

Procedimiento – Process.

Paso I - Step I

The first thing we must do is the patterns that we are going to use for the ornament, in this sense we can look for them in any craft page or in my case I made them myself and they are they can save for other Christmas decorations. The already cut patterns appear in the list of materials.

On the other hand, having all the patterns ready is really helpful because you can make the embellishment with greater precision and detail. In this sense, we make the marking with a pen on the foam that we are going to use as material.

Paso II – Step II

After marking all the patterns, the cuts must be made with scissors considering the materials used, in this case cardboard and foam.

Paso III – Step III

Having all the cuts ready, we are ready to assemble the ornament from the base to the head of the reindeer, we can glue the parts using cold silicone or a hot silicone gun. On the other hand, with creativity in all its splendor, other Christmas figures can be made beyond the Reindeer, such as: Santa Claus, Christmas tree, Snowman and any other that they wish and can do.

IV – Step IV

To secure the Christmas decoration on the wall where it will be placed, use a special double-sided tape so that it will stay during Christmas and beyond. This ornament is very beautiful for any part of our home and the next thing will be to make new reasons for the light switches in the living room, kitchen and dining room.

Paso V – Step V

To give it a touch of a Christmas tree, add some borders to the base of the ornament, the easiest to do with a paper punch and in this case it works for foami and cardboard , I also gave light to the eyes of the reindeer with a concealer or liquid papers. This is how the beautiful decoration for the light switch is ready

Realmente disfrute mucho realizar este adorno navideño muy propicio para la época, además de que me ayudo a combatir el estrés causado por las actividades diarias. Por otro lado el gasto es mínimo al reutilizar materiales y es muy sencillo de realizar. La decoración en Navidad es parte de las tradiciones que tenemos como familia y sabemos que los detalles más apreciados son los #hechoamanoconamor.

I really enjoyed making this very auspicious Christmas decoration for the season, plus it helped me combat the stress caused by daily activities. On the other hand, the expense is minimal when reusing materials and it is very easy to carry out. Decoration at Christmas is part of the traditions we have as a family and we know that the most appreciated details are those #handmadewithlove.
