I played a lot when I was a kid. I played the mummy and daddy play, cooked sand and called it food, chase my friends for fun, drove the tyre of a motorcycle for fun, and many other things that i can not remember.
I remember when we were younger, I will fight with the entire squad if they dare touch my tyre. Lol.
Thinking of it, I had all the fun I ever wanted. Played a lot. From these plays, I migrated to playing with the big dogs in the tennis board. Was still a kid when I started playing tennis and I got a hang of it. Though it's been longi played last, I still got my skills intact.
One of the things I played with during my childhood was paper canoe.
Back then, anytime it rains, my elder brother will get some pages of his books so he will make a paper canoe for us to play with. When he makes it, we will put it inside the water flow and then start running with it under the rain. This was the best time of my life ya'know.
Well, we all grown up now. It will be shameful to do such things. All I can do now is to reminisce about the good old days. Haha.
I went back to my childhood though. For this prompt, I made a paper canoe, just like my brother use to do for us.
The steps to make a paper canoe are as follows:
I got a paper, then I folded it in half.
Next, I made a triangle with the paper, just as seen in the picture above.
I folded the paper continuously as you see me folding it in the picture above.
I continued folding it like that, till it got to the smallest size it could attain.
Then, I held the two inner edges of the paper, and then I dragged it outwards.
When I did this, the result is what you see above.
To test whether my canoe floats, I got a bucket of water and placed the canoe in it. As expected, it floats just fine.
These are the steps to take if you want to make a paper canoe.
This is my entry to the #julyinleo prompt day 24.
Thank you for reading.
