I gave this table to my mom when she was 67 years old, today thank God, my mom is 92 years old, that is to say that 25 years have passed and despite the time the table only has loose legs and some stains on the wood, so I decided to repair this table, because that's where my mom enjoys her coffee and her snack.

Hola comunidad, aquí estoy de nuevo para compartir con ustedes mis artes, bueno amigos, en estos últimos meses he estado atendiendo los cultivos en la finca, pero siempre extrañando a la comunidad, incluso, había dejado pendiente la restauración de una mesa de madera de mi mama y ayer fue que la terminé y precisamente hoy quiero mostrarles esta restauración.

Esta mesa se la regalé a mi mama cuando ella tenia la edad de 67 años, hoy gracias a Dios, mi mama tiene 92 años, es decir que ya han pasado 25 años y a pesar del tiempo la mesa solo tiene las patas flojas y algunas manchas en la madera, así que decidí reparar esta mesa, porque allí es donde mi mama disfruta de su café y su merienda.

As I told you at the beginning, I gave this table to my mom 25 years ago, well friends, it's been 25 years, it was time to give this table some love, the legs had come off this table, since the nails had rusted, and on the other hand, it also had some details in the varnish, so I have to remove the nails and sand all the wood to paint it with varnish.	Como les decía al comienzo, esta mesa se la regalé a mi mama hacen 25 años, bueno amigos, son 25 años, ya era tiempo de hacerle un cariño a esta mesa, a esta mesa se le habían desprendido las patas, ya que los clavos se habían oxidado, y por otra parte, también presentaba algunos detalles en el barniz, de manera que tengo que remover los clavos y lijar toda la madera para pintarla con barniz.

Well friends, the three legs of the table were too loose and detached, because the nails had rusted, for this reason my sister had to keep the table to avoid danger, until I repaired it, then you can see how these were pieces:	Bueno amigos, las tres patas de la mesa estaban demasiadas flojas y desprendidas, porque los clavos se habían oxidado, por esta razón mi hermana tuvo que guardar la mesa para evitar peligro, hasta que yo la reparara, a continuación podrán ver como estaban estas piezas:

Step-1: To start with the repair, I am going to sand the wood of the central column and the three legs with the idea of ​​removing all the old glue, to even the surface so that the legs sit well:	Paso-1: Para comenzar con la reparación, voy a lijar la madera de la columna central y las tres patas con la idea de remover todo el pegamento viejo, para emparejar la superficie para que asienten bien las patas:

Step-2: In this step I am going to make some wooden nails, although these nails are available in the market, I decided to make them with a strong and resistant wood, this consists of making small sticks with a diameter of 6 millimeters and 4 centimeters long to insert them into the wood:	Paso-2: En este paso voy a elaborar unos clavos de madera, aunque en el mercado se consiguen estos clavos, yo decidí hacerlos con una madera fuerte y resistente, esto consiste en elaborar unos pequeños palitos con un diámetro de 6 milímetros y 4 centímetros de largo para insertarlos en la madera:

Step-3: Now with the use of a drill, I am going to open some holes to insert the wood nails, but before inserting the nails I will apply the white glue to the surface of the column and to each leg, as for the old nails, I will leave these there to serve as a guide regarding the level that the table had, I will only remove a little rust from these nails:	Paso-3: Ahora con el uso de un taladro, voy a abrir unos orificios para insertar los clavos de madera, pero antes de introducir los clavos le aplicaré la cola blanca a la superficie de la columna y en cada pata, en cuanto a los clavos viejos, estos los dejaré allí para que sirvan de guía con respecto al nivel que tenia la mesa, solo les quitare un poco el oxido a estos clavos:

Step-4: After placing the three legs on the central column of the table, I am now going to place some screws so that the legs adhere even more to the column and are strong and firm:	Paso-4: Después de colocar las cuatro patas en la columna central de la mesa, ahora voy a colocar unos tornillos para que las patas se adhieran aun más en la columna y queden fuertes y firmes:

Step-5: The following work consists of sanding all the wood of the table and then applying the varnish:	Paso-5: El siguiente trabajo consiste en lijar toda la madera de la mesa para después aplicar el barniz:

Step-6: Now I will apply the mahogany varnish with a little mahogany tint, but dark, this is to give the varnish a darker touch	Paso-6: Ahora aplicaré el barniz caoba con un poquito de tinte color caoba, pero oscuro, esto es para darle un toque más oscuro al barniz:
