Hello, today I bring you a super quick and easy project to do, although extremely useful for those of us who usually design images in phone applications and do not have a printer at hand to transfer the image to a sheet.
Yes, you could also place the sheet on the phone and trace, although that only works if you don't mind the design being small. With this project, the design will be double the original size 😊
The materials that we are going to need are quite basic, although I already said that the better the materials, the more accurate our multiplier will be.
I'm going to use leftover cardboard from previous projects, some clips and a hot glue gun to make it faster 😊
The first thing is to join strips of cardboard until you get a strip with a length of 31 centimeters, in my case, I am going to place one strip at each end and two in the center, so it will be more solid 😊
It is not very complex, so it does not need further explanation, we are going to join strips until we get 4 pieces of the measurements you see on the screen. 2 strips of 31 centimeters, 1 of 26 centimeters and finally 1 of 17 centimeters.
Now, the assembly needs a little more attention, so I'm going to show it image by image 😊
We take a strip of 31 centimeters and join it with clips to a piece of cardboard that we have left over, as you see in the image.
It is super important that the piece can move freely, it must have movement, so do not press so much when you join them with the clip
The second piece will also be a 31 centimeter one and we will also clip it to the previous piece, it should be something more or less like this 😊
Then, we must join the 26-centimeter piece as you see in the image, approximately 2 centimeters from the center of each piece.
That is, we mark a point 2 centimeters from the 31-centimeter piece and make a hole. We do the same with the 26 centimeter piece and we will put the clip there
Finally, we use the 17-centimeter piece to join the 26-centimeter piece with the first 31-centimeter piece that we placed, just as you can see in the image.
Also leaving a space of 2 centimeters from the center of the 31 centimeters
Now, we would have it ready and if you are straight, you must glue the base to the right side of a table or, as in my case, to the edge of a blackboard.
I CLARIFY, I fix it on the left side because I am left-handed and it is much more comfortable for me this way. Although it is only a matter of turning the invention around and it will work just as well 😊
The moment of truth has arrived, we must stick two pencils in the points that you see in the image. On the left side, I placed a yellow pencil, which will be where I will place the design that I want to make bigger, so that pencil does not matter if it has ink or not.
And on the right side, I placed an ordinary pencil, which will be the one that will transmit to the paper the movements that I make with my left hand, although the movements will look a little longer, which will make the design bigger.
Works? Yes, although it writes so clearly that it can hardly be seen in the image. And that would be all, it would be a matter of practicing a bit until you take the pulse of the device 😂
What if I advance, is that I already tried a version 2.0 and it works perfectly. In fact, I have several projects planned for this invention, follow me and don't miss the next post 😎
