Hoy voy a intentar reutilizar partes de este reloj viejo. Es un reloj que estaba por cada, luego de una caida se rompió el vidrio que tenia en el frontal y por detras ya la tapa no sostenia nada, sin mencionar que incluso tenia huevos de algo, sabrá Dios de que eran.
Today I am going to try to reuse parts of this old clock. It is a watch that was for everyone, after a fall the glass that it had on the front broke and on the back the lid did not hold anything, not to mention that it even had eggs of something, God knows what they were.
De momento solo vamos a utilizar esto, luego estaré haciendo otro proyecto con la parte frontal, aunque como digo de momento solo utilizaremos la parte del reloj, esto supongo que lo venden asi tal cual en alguna parte, pero yo no sé exactamente donde, si tu sabes donde puedo conseguirlo dejalo en lo comentarios ya que si esto sale relativamente bien, compraré algunos mas para hacer relojes para vender.

El primer paso es marcar la zona que quedará en relieve en el molde, debe ser lo suficientemente grande para que las agujas del reloj no peguen del borde.. Es facil de entender, aunque dificil de explicar, la cuestion es que para no andar complicandome la vida utilicé el mismo papel que ya estaba puesto en el antiguo reloj.

Ya teniendo eso lo demas es realmente facil, debemos pegar la parte que hicimos a un plastico que nos ayudará a que la mezcla de cemento no se peque a cualquier superficie. Luego de unas 6 horas estará lo suficientemente duro para despegar los laterales y con una regla alizar un poco mas cualquier imperfeccion que pudiera haber quedado, para posteriormente dejar secar unas 10 horas mas aproximadamente.
Having that, the rest is really easy, we must glue the part we made to a plastic that will help us to prevent the cement mixture from sticking to any surface. After about 6 hours it will be hard enough to take off the sides and with a ruler smooth out any imperfections that may have remained, to later let it dry for about 10 more hours.
Aca hago un pequeño parentesis, se de primera mano que muchas personas no invierten el dinero generado en Hive para mejorar su contenido, lo que es realmente una lastima, aunque puedo entender que no todos puedan costear un telefono de 500$ para tomar fotos mas nitidas. Dicho eso, recomiendo mucho a todos que inviertan en una lampara de led como esta o al menos en un paral y le conectan un bombillo comun, no necesariamente debe ser un aro de luz. Creanme, pensamos que la luminosidad de nuestras casas está bien y es buena hasta que apagamos la lampara y vemos lo oscuro que está todo, asi podras sacar el maximo provecho a un telefono economico.

Seguimos, luego de haber transcurrido unas 10 o 12 horas mas, podemos terminar de desmoldar la pieza, aun con mucho cuidado porque está fresca, aun no seca del todo y es justo por eso que lo haremos ahora, ya que luego de desmoldar debemos raspar con una espatula o como en mi caso con un cuchillo, las rebabas que pudieron haber quedado en el proceso, luego de hacerlo y llegar a un resultado relativamente parejo si dejamos reposar la pieza un par de dias para que se seque por completo. Obviamente si contamos con un molde especializado esto no hará falta, cuando haga los comerciales podran ver a lo que me refiero, aunque por ahora nos conformaremos con un proceso casero para entender los conceptos basicos.

Por cuestion de tiempo y para no perder el entusiasmo, decidí armarlo de una vez y que se vaya secando lentamente ya puesto en su sitio. Para este en particular vamos a seguir la idea de mantener las cosas sencillas y utilizaremos un trozo de carton pintado de centro, el cual pegaremos con silicon frio para posteriormente volver a armar el reloj. No muestro el paso a paso porque es bastante simple, una tuerca y colocar las manecillas una detras de la otra.
For a matter of time and not to lose enthusiasm, I decided to put it together once and let it dry slowly once it's in place. Y listo, asi de simple lo tendriamos listo, a medida que se vaya secando se irá volviendo de un color mas claro, no debemos preocuparnos si se empieza a esclarecer unas partes primero que otras, es normal que el cemento fragüe en algunos sitios mas rapido que en otros.
And ready, that simple we would have it ready, as it dries it will become a lighter color, we should not worry if some parts begin to lighten before others, it is normal for the cement to set faster in some places than in others.
