I'm here with you today with a fun article. I think it will be a chirpy post with quite colorful photos. In this post, I will tell you how I prepared my pumpkin accessory, which I love to use at home.
I love DIY products. I think this is a feature that the handcrafts course I took in primary school gave me. We also remember once again how important it is to learn by doing and experiencing in education.
A year and a half ago, I was very bored when we were closed to homes due to the pandemic. At that time, I thought of taking silicone cups and making various figures and decorating them by painting. From time to time, I make pumpkin pots of various colors with my silicone cups and use them at home. I also make my loved ones happy by giving gifts to them.
Today I will show you the pumpkin accessories that I prepared in three different colors and the stages of their preparation. I liked them all. Let's see which of these three groups you like more.
Now let me start explaining how I prepared these cute pumpkin pots.
First, I prepared the place where I will make the pumpkins. I was going to use the kitchen table for this. Since I didn't want my table to get dirty, I covered the table with a plastic bag.
Then I placed all the materials on my desk. Silicone cups, fast drying plaster powder, scissors, glue gun, various flowers and ribbons. (I used flowers and ribbons at home to decorate it.)
To make the pots, I first prepared a mortar by mixing fast drying gypsum powder with water. Then I poured these mixtures into molds and waited for them to dry. I prepared mortar for one flower pot at a time. Because you only had one potted silicone pot. Otherwise, the mortar could freeze.
The mixture I prepared was ready to come out of the mold in about 10 minutes.
After removing it from the mold, I had to wait a while for it to dry.
I carefully removed the pumpkin pots from the mold and left them to dry for a while.
In order for me to paint the plaster pumpkins I prepared, they had to dry very well.
While they were drying, I prepared the accessories that I would use to decorate.
I made small bows from a few ribbons I found at home.
I glued the bows I prepared to the toothpicks.
They were really cute.
I put the flower heads I found at home on toothpicks and made them ready to be placed in pumpkin pots.
I also shortened the length of the dried flowers, which are quite long, according to the pot size.
While I was preparing the flowers and ribbons, they were dried enough in the plaster pots.
Now the most fun part of the job, painting the pots, has begun. I've always loved painting jobs. Actually, I had an interest and talent for painting at a young age, but I moved away from it due to life conditions.
First, I painted the pots in yellow color. I think it's because my favorite color is yellow.
Then I painted the pots in pink and gold, respectively.
After painting the pumpkin pots, I waited for the paint to dry this time. After the paints dried, I decorated the pots with the decorations I prepared.
After the decorations were finished, a very beautiful result emerged. I really liked the pots I prepared. I use it in various parts of my house and I am very happy with the result.

Bu gönderimde evde severek kullandığım balkabağı aksesuarımı nasıl hazırladığımı anlatacağım.
Ben DİY ürünlerini çok seviyorum. Bu sanırım ilkokul yıllarında aldığım el becerileri dersinin bana kazandırdığı bir özellik. Eğitimde yaparak yaşayarak öğrenmenin ne kadar önemli olduğunu da bir kez daha hatırlıyoruz.
Bir buçuk sene evvel pandemi sebebiyle evlere kapandığımız zamanlarda çok sıkılıyordum. O dönemde aklıma silikon kaplar alarak çeşitli figürler yapmak ve bunları boyayarak süslemek geldi.
Zaman zaman silikon kaplarımla çeşitli renklerde balkabağı saksıları yapıyorum ve evimde kullanıyorum. Ayrıca sevdiklerime de hediye ederek onları da mutlu ediyorum.
Bugün sizlere üç farklı renkte hazırladığım balkabağı aksesuarlarını ve bunları hazırlama aşamalarını göstereceğim. Ben hepsini çok beğendim. Bakalım bu üç gruptan hangisini daha çok beğeneceksiniz.
Şimdi bu sevimli balkabağı saksıları o nasıl hazırladığımı anlatmaya başlayayım.
İlk olarak balkabaklarını yapacağım yeri hazırladım. Ben bunun için mutfak masasını kullanacaktım. Masamın kirlenmesini istemediğim için masanın üzerini poşet ile kapladım.
Daha sonra tüm malzemeleri masamın üzerine yerleştirdim.
Silikon kaplar, hızlı kuruyan alçı tozu, makas , silikon tabancası, çeşitli çiçekler ve kurdeleler. ( süslemek için evimde bulunan çiçek ve kurdeleleri kullandım.)
Saksıları yapmak için önce hızlı kuruyan alçı tozu ile suyu karıştırarak harç hazırladım. Daha sonra hazırladığım bu karışımları kalıplara dökerek kurumasını bekledim. Her defasında bir saksı için harç hazırladım. Çünkü yalnızca bir adet saksı silikon kabın vardı. Aksi halde harç donabilirdi.
Hazırladığım karışım yaklaşık olarak 10 dakika kadar bir sürede kalıptan çıkmaya hazır hale geliyordu.
Kalıptan çıkarttıktan sonra bir süre daha kuruması için beklemem gerekiyordu.
Balkabağı saksıları dikkatli bir şekilde kalıptan çıkartarak kurumaları için bir süre daha beklettim.
Hazırladığım alçı balkabaklarını boyamam için çok iyi bir şekilde kurumaları gerekiyordu.
Onlar kuruyorken ben de süslemek için kullanacağım aksesualrı hazırladım.
Evde bulduğum bir kaç şeritten küçük fiyonklar hazırladım.
Hazırladığım fiyonkları kürdanlara yapıştırdım.
Gerçekten çok sevimli oldular.
Evde bulduğum çiçek başlarını da kürdanlara takarak balkabağı saksılarına yerleştirmeye hazır hale getirdim.
Birde boyları oldukça uzun olan kurumuş çiçeklerin boylarını saksı boyutuna göre kısalttım.
Ben çiçekleri ve kurdeleleri hazırlarken alçı saksılarda yeteri kadar kurudular.
Şimdi işin en eğlenceli kısmı olan saksıları boyama aşaması başladı. Ben her zaman boyama işlerini çok sevmişimdir. Aslında küçük yaşlarda resim yapmaya ilgi ve yeteneğim vardı ama hayat şartları ile bundan uzaklaştım.
İlk olarak sarı renkteki saksıları o boyadım. Sanırım bunun nedeni en sevdiğim rengin sarı olmasıydı.
Daha sonra sırasıyla pembe ve Gold renkteki saksıları da boyadım.
Balkabağı saksılarını boyama işlemi bittikten sonra bu sefer de boyalarının kurumasını bekledim.
Boyaları da kuruduktan sonra hazırladığım süslemeler ile saksıları süsledim.
Süslemeler bittikten sonra çok güzel bir sonuç çıktı ortaya. Hazırladığım saksıları çok beğendim. Evimin çeşitli yerlerinde kullanıyorum ve sonuçtan çok memnunum.
