Its a small thing, but it has made a big difference to my room.
I bought four guitar hangers and fixed them to the wall. Not so easy, because its an uneven stone wall, so I had to fix a pair of battens at a couple of points to the wall first, then add two uprights which go down to the floor to take most of the weight. Then I fixed the hangers to the battens.

This has got the guitars off the floor, and makes them easy to access while I am recording or practicing.

For those interested...the little one is a Yamaha ukele size guitar, tuned to A.
The acoustic is a Takamine Jasmine, bought in Cyprus in 2000.
Then its a non-Fender Stratocaster, bought very cheap on ebay and heavily modified by me.
And my bass is an Ibanez Talman short scale. I love that because it makes it much easier for me to play, since i am principally a guitarist, and it sounds great
