Para moldear iniciamos dividiendo la masa en pequeñas porciones, luego agregamos pintura y mezclamos hasta obtener el color deseado, para este proyecto usaremos; gris, dorado, negro blanco y amarillo, luego formamos una bola, aplanamos y formamos un rectángulo gris claro en el centro y gris oscuro en los lados.
Con ayuda de las estecas hacemos un corte en el centro para sacar el cuello del sobretodo y las mangas, con la masa dorada y gris hacemos dos círculos pequeños, agregamos pegamento, formamos un broche y lo pegamos en la parte de arriba.
To shape the clay, we begin by dividing it into small portions. Then we add paint and mix until we obtain the desired color. For this project, we will use gray, gold, black, white, and yellow. Next, we form a ball, flatten it, and shape it into a light gray rectangle in the center and a dark gray rectangle on the sides.
Using modeling tools, we make a cut in the center to create the collar and sleeves of the overcoat. With the gold and gray clay, we make two small circles, add glue, form a clasp, and attach it to the top.
Luego con la masa de color blanco, aplanamos dos tiras y las unimos a la manga del sobretodo, colocamos suficiente pegamento y trazamos líneas con las estecas para darle un estilo de alto relieve, pasado el tiempo de secado, con la pintura negra y un pincel fino hacemos varias letras y símbolos en la franja blanca, dejamos secar la pintura y también el pegamento.
Moldeamos dos rectángulos en color gris claro, para hacer las piernas, colocamos pegamento, unimos y dejamos secar.
Next, using the white clay, flatten two strips and attach them to the sleeve of the overcoat. Apply enough glue and use modeling tools to create a raised effect. Once dry, use black paint and a fine brush to paint several letters and symbols on the white strip. Let the paint and glue dry completely.
Shape two rectangles from light gray clay to make the legs. Apply glue, attach them, and let them dry.
Aplanamos una porción de masa negra, lo más delgada posible y con ella haremos la parte de atrás del sobretodo, añadimos pegamento con ayuda de la esteca o el pincel, esparcimos por el cuerpo, pegamos y hacemos presión con cuidado, en la parte delantera cubrimos las piernas formando una una abertura en forma de V en el centro y dejamos secar.
We flatten a portion of black dough, as thin as possible, and with it we will make the back of the overcoat. We add glue using a modeling tool or a brush, spread it over the body, glue it down, and press carefully. At the front, we cover the legs, forming a V-shaped opening in the center, and let it dry.
Agregamos una franja blanca en las piernas, similar a la que hicimos en la parte de arriba, también colocamos los símbolos y letras, con masa marrón aplanamos una tira para hacer la correa, con la masa dorada haremos la hebilla, la pegamos en el centro, unimos la correa al cuerpo y agregamos pequeños círculos de color negro, verificamos la cantidad de pegamento, presionamos un poco y dejamos secar.
Para hacer los brazos emplearemos la masa de color negro, moldeamos dos rectángulos y los pegamos a cada lado, como es una pieza gruesa, colocamos suficiente pegamento en el cuerpo del personaje y en los brazos, con las manos presionamos un poco para unirlas y dejamos secar.
We added a white stripe to the legs, similar to the one we made on the top. We also added the symbols and letters. With brown clay, we flattened a strip to make the strap. With gold clay, we made the buckle, glued it in the center, attached the strap to the body, and added small black circles. We checked the amount of glue, pressed it down a little, and let it dry.
To make the arms, we used black clay. We shaped two rectangles and glued them to each side. Since it's a thick piece, we applied enough glue to the character's body and arms, pressed them together a little with our hands, and let it dry.
Para finalizar, con la masa amarilla moldeamos un cilindro, que será el rostro del personaje, luego estiramos una porción de masa negra lo más delagada que podamos, con la cual haremos la capucha, la pegamos en la cara, estiramos hacia atrás formando un triángulo y en la parte delantera pegamos una tira de color negro, luego con la masa dorada aplanamos una tira delgada, la pegamos pegaremos en el borde de la cinta negra y pequeñas cintas amarillas en la parte delantera.
Con la punta de la esteca, colocamos el pegamento en la capucha y en la cinta amarilla y presionamos un poco.
Agregamos los ojos, la boca y unimos la cabeza al cuerpo, aquí colocamos suficiente pegamento y dejamos secar durante dos o tres días, y ya está terminada la escultura de Télamón.
Finally, using the yellow clay, we mold a cylinder, which will be the character's face. Then, we roll out a portion of black clay as thin as possible to make the hood. We attach it to the face, stretch it back to form a triangle, and glue a black strip to the front. Next, with the gold clay, we flatten a thin strip and glue it to the edge of the black strip, along with small yellow strips on the front.
Using the tip of the modeling tool, we apply glue to the hood and the yellow strip and press it down lightly.
We add the eyes and mouth, and attach the head to the body. We apply enough glue here and let it dry for two or three days. The Télamón fabric sculpture is now complete.
