El primer paso para la pizza, es dividir la masa en porciones, luego agregamos pintura a las porciones y mezclamos hasta integrar y obtener el color deseado, en este proyecto usaremos los colores, amarillo, rojo y naranja, luego formamos bolas planas, a partir de ellas iniciamos el moldeado, primero haremos la base de la pizza con la masa de color naranja, ya esta incluye la salsa, por eso tiene un ligero tono naranja - rojizo, que resulta de la unión de la masa con la salsa, con ayuda del rodillo, aplanamos lo más delgado posible y alisamos los bordes.
The first step for the pizza is to divide the dough into portions. Then we add food coloring to the portions and mix until we achieve the desired color. In this project, we will use yellow, red, and orange. Next, we form flat balls. From these, we begin shaping the pizza. First, we will make the base with the orange dough, which already includes the sauce, hence its slight orange-reddish hue. Using a rolling pin, we flatten the dough as thin as possible and smooth the edges.

Para hacer el pepperoni, utilizaremos la masa roja, a partir del círculo formamos pequeñas bolas, que posteriormente vamos a aplanar y por la parte de abajo, con ayuda de la esteca circular vamos a darle un efecto abombado, esto simula cómo quedará el pepperoni luego de pasar por el horno, en total haremos entre 15 y 20 bolas de salami, las hacemos de diferentes tamaños y tratando en la medida de lo posible que todas queden abombadas para lograr este efecto nos ayudaremos con la esteca circular, también con los dedos y alisaremos los bordes con una superficie lisa o las manos.
To make the pepperoni, we will use the red dough. Starting with the circle, we form small balls, which we will then flatten. On the bottom, using the circular modeling tool, we will give it a domed effect. This simulates how the pepperoni will look after baking. In total, we will make between 15 and 20 pepperoni balls, making them different sizes and trying, as much as possible, to make them all domed. To achieve this effect, we will use the circular modeling tool, as well as our fingers, and smooth the edges with a smooth surface or our hands.
A continuación, pegamos el pepperoni en la pizza, colocamos pegamento en la parte de atrás y con ayuda de una esteca puntiaguda vamos pegando uno por uno, hasta cubrir la pizza, en este paso es importante que todo el el pepperoni tenga pegamento para se pueda unir a la pizza, al ser piezas pequeñas debemos hacer un poco de presión al momento de pegar para que compacte, luego dejamos secar, verificando que las piezas tengan suficiente pegamento, dejamos secar por varios días para que queden fuertes.
Antes de llevar al secado, con ayuda de la esteca cortadora, marcamos las porciones de pizza haciendo presión para que cuando se seque las marcas puedan verse, la masa flexible tiene una característica que al secar tiende a reducir y algunas aberturas si no tienen la suficiente profundidad y ancho se pueden cerrar, por eso aquí debemos hacer la presión suficiente para que las líneas se marquen y puedan ser visibles aún después del secado.
Next, we glue the pepperoni onto the pizza. We put glue on the back and, using a pointed tool, we stick them on one by one until the pizza is covered. In this step, it's important that all the pepperoni has glue so it can adhere to the pizza. Since they are small pieces, we need to apply a little pressure when gluing them to compact them. Then we let it dry, checking that the pieces have enough glue. We leave it to dry for several days so that they become strong.
Before drying, using the cutting tool, we mark the pizza portions by applying pressure so that the marks will be visible when it dries. Flexible dough has a characteristic that it tends to shrink when drying, and some openings, if they are not deep and wide enough, can close up. That's why we must apply enough pressure so that the lines are marked and can be visible even after drying.
